Jones hasn't really improved much in the years he's been here. People say he's solid at recruiting, fine, keep him on in a recruiting capacity but hire someone that can actually coach a team up.

Just for funsies and as a bit of a conspiracy theory... Did Wisconsin tank the game against Ohio State on purpose to get them into the top four? You have to think the money coming from potentially two bowl games would be nice for the conference. Wisco had no chance to get in and didn't even look like they were putting up a fight yesterday. Just throwing it out there

There you have kind of the crux of it. Ohio State lost to a bad Virginia Tech team (at home too). People will argue that it was the OSU quarterback's first game and at the beginning of the season, but that obviously didn't stop them from beating up on Wisconsin. As for TCU/Baylor - Baylor won the head to head as TCU just crapped themselves in the 4th quarter. TCU lost to a top 10 team on the road. Baylor lost to West Virginia (unranked) on the road (I believe). If you look at the statistics against common opponents, it appears that TCU was the better team than Baylor. The top two spots are Alabama/Oregon. There is little to no debate over that. What I think the next two should be are TCU/FSU. TCU has looked like a top 4 team much of the season except the 4th quarter against Baylor and one slop game on the road at Kansas. FSU is undefeated, and while they haven't looked good getting there, the fact they haven't lost and the resume isn't horrible (Georgia Tech is a decent opponent) means they get the nod over Ohio State and Baylor. However, all that said. I think the "playoff" will be: 1. Alabama 2. Oregon 3. Ohio State 4. Florida State Due to the Big 10 media bias and the sudden negative that is the missing Big 12 championship game.

Game attendance has nothing to do with acting like a drunken fool on a message board and apparently in person as well. The fact that some people cannot attend every game, for whatever reason, does not mean that they are less supportive of the team than you. Hopefully you do not act like a drunken imbecile spouting this nonsense when in public and hopefully you contain it to this board. Otherwise you are no better than lakesbison and would be a blemish on the fanbase much the same.

What's the argument for OSU jumping TCU though? They beat up on a horribly one-dimensional Wisconsin team that laid an egg? I keep seeing an argument about the Big 12 not having a team in the top 4 because they didn't have a conference championship game, but the NCAA doesn't allow a 10 team conference to have a championship game. How is that supposed to be a negative against TCU/Baylor?

So with the top four teams winning this week (making assumption with FSU), Baylor beating #9 Kansas State, and Ohio State crushing a helpless (one dimensional) Wisconsin. Who are the top four at the end of the season?

Tonight would be a good game to get Murphy in, try to kickstart his offense.

I'd like to see something from N. Schmaltz. Would love to see him get rolling going into tomorrow.

They were playing well offensively for the most part but not buzzing like they were to finish the 2nd. The final 7 or 8 minutes of the second was about as good of offensive hockey as I have seen this year from UND. It wasn't a skill thing, it was effort. They were hustling to every puck, winning every battle, and just grinding LSSU down.

Big save by LSSU otherwise it could be 6-4!

This is just a terrible game. Overlooked this team and underplaying.

Overall just a terrible game. Johnson crapping the bed, Caggiula and St. Clair out, and down 0-3 to a terrible opponent.

Please pull Johnson if you want to win this game. He's been awful.

Why is Cam even starting tonight. Figured he might be tomorrow night but not on Friday

The problem this season is that the team looks good in the first half and looks terrible in the second. The second half is about coaching adjustments. I haven't seen much to indicate Jones can do that so far this season.

Considering the support (or lack thereof) the defense got from the offense throughout the season, those stats are incredibly. The defense was really, really good and it's a crime that more players weren't given the recognition they deserved.

Imagine four years down the road if this line stays together and keeps developing.

That's the O'Donnell that needs to be seen the rest of the season. Much better tonight.
