Would it be possible at all to make this thread for actual departures instead of conjecture and posturing?

UND needs to stay out of the box, but that's kind of hard when even a regular check is getting called on them.

Wisconsin's fate was sealed in the second half when they stopped attacking the rim and settled for jacking up 3's. Prior to that they were running great sets, penetrating, and moving the Duke defense.

More than likely this whole thing is smoke and mirrors. The committee/Kelley likely has something picked out but it always looks good to be seen getting public opinion.

Stetcher strikes me as a Pattyn type, someone just all in for the program. Would love to see him stick around.

Emphasis should be on player safety, regardless of who has responsibility. Yes, ideally an offensive player should be skating with his head up, but defensive players also need to know when to lay off.

Watching the games this past weekend, I like what Murphy is doing. Right now he's not scoring but he's doing all the small things he needs to be doing and has eliminated some of the bonehead play from early in the year. I think next year Murphy could see a breakthrough like O'Donnell had this year. Maybe not to the same level, but I still think he'll be productive.

Pretty nice to get home games as a 4 seed. Oh well.

From the sounds of it BU was given a gift of a powerplay that lead to the game winning goal. Heard that from a buddy of mine who lives out east and just so happens to ref hockey. NCAA fix in to get BU to the FF?

Saw a rumor floating around that UND is looking at the Northstars logo/name. This of course is from a discussion on facebook so take with a grain of salt but here's part of it. "They've already decided [what the new logo will be]. This is just a PR exercise (regarding the nickname committee). I know a guy who is involved in licensed logo apparel for college and pro teams and he says that UND is already in negotiations to purchase the old Northstars logo. This was going on before the new comittee was even formed."
