Really excited to hear about the solid recruiting weekend. I'm sure Bubba knows what he is doing and is getting players he can work with. Regarding the bison fan trolling in here, a solid way to deal with it is simply ignore it. Ignore any of their comments and just focus on what UND is doing. They are trying to elicit a reaction; just don't give it to them.

So should any nickname beat out the "no nickname" in the final vote and should there be more protests, will Kelley capitulate and just keep opening up the "no nickname" option to continually appease the screaming masses?

A sand pit is simple enough to construct. I believe Hyslop already has some sand for indoor track events.

This was my experience also. Nothing fancy, nothing horrible. It was food and good enough.

Part of the problem I see with the passing defense is our lack of depth at corner. We are dreadfully thin there and an injury or two could have us hurting quite a bit. I see the run defense being top 5 still and if the secondary stays healthy, I think we see an improvement in scoring defense. Some of that could be aided by an improvement of the offense. If the offense can find a way to consistently run the ball for an entire season, the defensive numbers will show improvement.

UND needs to stay out of the box, but that's kind of hard when even a regular check is getting called on them.

Wisconsin's fate was sealed in the second half when they stopped attacking the rim and settled for jacking up 3's. Prior to that they were running great sets, penetrating, and moving the Duke defense.

More than likely this whole thing is smoke and mirrors. The committee/Kelley likely has something picked out but it always looks good to be seen getting public opinion.

Stetcher strikes me as a Pattyn type, someone just all in for the program. Would love to see him stick around.

Emphasis should be on player safety, regardless of who has responsibility. Yes, ideally an offensive player should be skating with his head up, but defensive players also need to know when to lay off.

Watching the games this past weekend, I like what Murphy is doing. Right now he's not scoring but he's doing all the small things he needs to be doing and has eliminated some of the bonehead play from early in the year. I think next year Murphy could see a breakthrough like O'Donnell had this year. Maybe not to the same level, but I still think he'll be productive.

Pretty nice to get home games as a 4 seed. Oh well.
