I reloaded my feed and it's been a bit better.

Someone needs to tape the ball onto Santiago's arm. Young man needs to secure the ball.
-
Correct; just reached the end of the 1st

Btw, anyone else having issues with the streaming video? Mine is constantly buffering. I know it's not my internet connection.

Blocked punt leads to a 14 yard TD run by Santiago, broke a tackle in the backfield to bounce outside.
-
Heck of a play by Seibel for the TD.
-
The pass play was a good call if Studsrud was remotely accurate with it. Horribly underthrown. Walker had both corner and safety beat.

TH thought the two goals were pretty soft. Doesn't matter how good Tomek is, can't be much worse than what's been seen so far. -

This team better score a whole lot of goals with Cam in net. -
Any kind of vertical threat in a passing game makes running the ball easier. Safeties aren't allowed to crowd the box and linebackers have to at least pay lip service to zone/man coverage instead of just going gung-ho after the run. UND ran the ball very well today despite the almost total lack of a passing game. However, we've seen how that can be completely shut down by a better team (NDSU) or better effort (Drake). A one-dimensional offense is easier to defend. For the offense to really grow, it needs a passing game.

I've liked what I've seen from Grady. I'm guessing by the end of the year, Grady will have a spot in the starting line.
-
The passing offense doesn't seem natural to Studsrud, he's hesitant with his decision and so the passes are coming out late. Not sure if he's overthinking or what, he just seems a step slow on any passing play where he has a progression. The touchdown plays were designed for a single receiver and he was on time and accurate on those. Might need to simplify the passing game to a 1 read and run type system if Studsrud can't settle into some better progression reading.

This feels like the win equivalent of Sioux Falls. Just an awful taste after this even though it's still a win.
-
I'm curious how many yards the offense has in the second half. My money is on less than 60.
-
After a season and couple games, I have zero confidence in UND's OC. He's predictable and unimaginative. If the line gets push, the offense chugs along but does nothing overly exciting. If the line doesn't get push, you get games like today where the offense disappears.

I'm not seeing the team that played Wyoming out there today. Uninspired. Lack of execution. Sloppy.
-
It amazes me that the offensive line could go from pushing around Wyoming's defensive front one week to being completely dominated by Drake a week later.

How hard is it to figure out an inside backer blitzing the A gap? Studsrud's fumble and the safety were due to a blitz right up the middle that was never picked up. Not like they are even hidden or stunted. It's just a straight A gap blitz.
-
Drake made the adjustments, have to give credit to their staff for adjusting their defensive scheme. They have stopped the run and now are bringing the pressure so that Studsrud doesn't have time. I think UND needs to move the pocket, keep Drake from just blitzing at will.
-
Studsrud is not making good decisions with the blitz right now. Drake has made the right adjustments at halftime. Rudolph needs to counter as that should have been a safety on Studsrud.
-
Pretty obvious that Drake's gameplan focused on taking away the run. Luckily Studsrud has been up to the task and is definitely taking advantage of it.
-
Studsrud has a pretty good arm but needs to not stare down his receiver. Touchdown 3 he had eyes only for Seibel, linebacker read it but just couldn't get to the pass. Against NDSU or Montana St. that could be an int.

Is there a live stream for those of us out of town?

Gotta admit, that one's pretty good
