I've seen basketball players at just about every football game I can think of. They just don't have the numbers to make the difference. The women's basketball team is always there in the front row too. I've seen hockey players too but not as often.

That group was fun to watch the four years they were here. Their senior year could have been a lot different with a healthy Brekke. They had immense talent but there were always those head scratching plays of forcing shots and what not. This team just has a different team element. The Huff led team just had a different attitude. But you're right they joined a tough situation and performed admirably.

Hooker is so damn good. That play he made to save the ball out of bounds and lead Crandall to a layup was one of the best plays I've seen all year. This teams IQ and chemistry is just so high its incredible. There is really a lot less frustration for me watching this team than I had when watching the Huff teams. Shanks actually had an alright game. Needs a little bit better hands but he made some nice passes. Hoping they can make some noise in the Big Sky tourney so we can continue watching the show.

Are we sure its his ankle? I guess I haven't gone through this whole thread but I thought it was maybe a cramp.

I think the reason Shanks starts is honestly to try to win the tip. There hasn't been a game recently that Shanks has had more minutes than Avants.

Yeah that's the thing I don't think everyone realizes. The player has a say in it. But I definitely agree it would have been nice to redshirt him. I'm thinking it did wonders for Geno.

Avants has definitely won some people over. I remember against Wisconsin I believe somebody said he looked like a random guy they picked up in the hotel lobby.

Was listening to Tim and Swig this morning and they were talking about the team and how they're the 7th youngest in the nation. Pretty ridiculous. I have never been much of a Jones supporter but I'm thinking barring anything drastic he will be coaching this team still the next couple of years. Now we need to just finally beat Weber.
