  1. I'm also very excited about Toivenen. Bubba has loaded this team about with big receivers.
  2. Sorry, but as much as I would enjoy watching us play the Goofs and Wisco every year ... is this even a question? There is ZERO benfit to UND joining Big Ten hockey. Not unless it involved a move to the Big 10 in every other sport. and even then I would say NO!!! The old WCHA was great, but so is the new NCHC. Big 10 or the Little 6 is a joke, and was a huge mistake. Joining that bad of a conference would only be a worse mistake.
  3. I think it was said last week that Cloyd reaffirmed his commitment to UND.
  4. Wow we are getting screwed left and right with penalties.
  5. Western is trying to play a fast paced game. They are going to be gassed by the early third. I don't seem them keeping up with UND in a speed game.
  6. Does yours show it for the full length of the game? Mine shows one 1/2 hour segment. I can't imagine it would cut out after 30 min though.
  7. Not sure about others in the minneapolis area, but my tv guide is showing that the game is on tv from 7-7:30. Hopefully they timing is just off in the programming.
  8. If this is a goal, I have some questions for the manitowoc county sheriffs department.
  9. This should not be taking this long. The longer the review the more nervous I get.
  10. Yep, we'll probably end up with an OL sitting out at safety once or twice! If anyone end up top end players, there are some marketing opportunities there for the student section. Get your HUNTing gear! We'll be HUNTing down interceptions and opposing QBs! C'mon there is some potential there. haha
  11. I know its too early to know for sure .... but its a slow day at work and I need some football material. haha
  12. Would have been nice to see, but it is what it is. So with the class likely finished up, barring an last minute additions or defections. Who, at this early point, to we expect to play right away? Hunt - I believe it was already said that he likely won't redshirt. Holm? Randolph? Toivenen? Anyone?
  13. A bit of a rough go for a few Big Sky teams. EWU dismisses football player involved in fatal north Spokane shooting http://www.kxly.com/news/spokane-news/ewu-dismisses-football-player-involved-in-fatal-north-spokane-shooting/37632768 ISU football player charged with 2 felony counts for marijuana dealing http://www.idahostatejournal.com/members/isu-football-player-charged-with-felony-counts-for-marijuana-dealing/article_07b9b942-c875-5639-82c4-5e6f925aebf4.html
  14. Yeah, it would be nice to see them get the ball to Reed a bit this year. I think you could definitely work Santiago into a few routes as well. But going forward, its always good to have a fast shifty guy.
  15. Interesting that we saw no FBS dropdowns, I though they might go after 1 or 2. Not complaining, I like that the coaches are going out and getting their own guys, just thought they might try to bring in a seasoned play to help fill in the OL with our graduates and early losses.
  16. Is it Football season yet! Man, I hope we dominate Stony Brook and go into Bowling Green confident and ready for the upset. So much potential on this team, time to capitalize. This will be the season we have been waiting for since going D1. Time to hit the playoffs and make some noise.
  17. I really like that Bubba is going after some big receivers. Stanley 6' 4" Dulin 6' 4" Blackwell 6' 3" Toivenen 6' 3" Wanzek 6' 4" Add your tight ends into that mix too with Cloyd and Pinke.
  18. I think we'll be pretty set at TE, with Cloyd and Pinke, but who knows .... right now I think he has pretty similar size to Luke Stanley, who had a nice year last year. What I want to know is, in addition to size, can he play physical and go up to get some jump balls. Same think that I hope to see more of from Stanley this year. Go up and make some of the tough catches. If you have that leaping ability and physicality, in addition to the extra muscle he will put on in college, there is always potential to be dangerous with that natural size.
  19. Agreed, I'll feel better about it on Wednesday, but aside from the Scholly QB that most wanted, and the unfortunate swap with Chinn, I'd say UND did great. A ton of potential in this class.
  20. Completely agree with you! I was really putting that in there as an argument to someone else as to why someone may switch from UND to SDSU, in addition to the proximity being closer to their home. I'll put it this way, when my kids are older, assuming they have the opportunity to play a college sport ... I want them to go where they feel comfortable, are happy and get a good education. When I was an high school athlete, and considering playing sports in college, I was really just looking at where can I play? Where is far enough away from home, but not too far? Which school just felt right? I ended up not going to the school where I could wrestle because I didn't like the school as much; instead I went to UND, played in the band, and loved every minute of my time there.

    2016 Season

I think we all are. I'll feel much better when these commitments have actually signed. Really hope most, if not all, intend to be on campus at the beginning of the summer. I think that is absolutely critical.
  22. Another FBS offer! Obviously no guarantees with anyone, regardless of who else offers, but I think this is a definitely a kid UND to be going all out to get. C'mon, who would like to see this kid tear up the NDSU in a few years
  23. My bad, I totally missed that one
  24. He was listed as an offeree on the Wiki, but committed to Nevada. Not sure when that offer was extended, if he turned it down, if it was withdrawn .... but it seems that UND was at least interested at some point.
