Just not Fighting Hawks

Just to make my own personal case ..... I have been a hardcore Sioux fan since 2003 when I first got to UND. Prior to that I grew up a Gopher fan (It was a fairly dark place in my like that I prefer not to think about ) So despite all of UND's Championship banners, I have been doomed to 12 years of playoff disappointment. -Losing to Denver in'03 and again in '04; the year of the all-WCHA frozen four -More early exits to BC that I prefer to think about. ('06, '07, '08) -Strange early exits to New Hampshire ('09) and Yale('10). (Also lost to Yale in '13, though they won it all that year) -Sean Hunwick vs. The Pony Express (winner Hunwick) (in '11) -Gopher ('12) .... at least they didn't win it all -Bounced by the Goofers with .6 seconds left in the game. ('14) -Zano Insano vs Eichel and Company ('15) I'm getting very tired of these playoff losses, often in epic fashion. Time to win one! C'mon Hockey Gods, time to play fair!! Go Sioux!

Huge shout out to all of the folks that run and support Siouxsports.com. I just tried going over to the Northeastern Hockey Forum website, and was able to sign up for a free account, but could not access any message boards, articles, etc. unless I signed up for a $15-$30 annual pass. Appreciate all you guys do to keep this thing running for the fans!

Gotcha. I couldn't remember what the comparison was. Just not used to hearing those names together. LJ is solid, but it would be great to see him play more consistently. I have noticed he has better puck Control than last year. He whiffed on way too many shots last season. I decided to pick up tickets for the game today, so hopefully we take it to denver. Would also like to see Duluth beat up on the clowns tonight. May need that if we are going to be in St paul next weekend. Go Sioux!

Time to stop playing Hawk hockey and get back to Fighting Sioux Hockey

Why? Just disappointed because I was looking forward to finally watching my team in person for the first time in a long time. Unfortunately tickets are expensive, so I won't be using that money in a third place afternoon game. Just a bummer they lost and a bummer they killed my Saturday night plans.

I could not be more pissed right now. I haven't had a chance to watch this team live in like 7 or 8 year, and was really pumped to buy tickets to a championship game tomorrow night. Not wasting money on a worthless third place game. I guess we will see if the Sioux land in St Paul next weekend, maybe I'll finally get back to a game.

Officials did not cost us the game, but wow were they terrible. Been a while since I've seen a game that one sided.

We will be ok, as long as we play better than tonight. Limited offensive plays. Too many defensive breakdowns. 1 or 2 softies by Cam. They haven't played many bad games this year, but this was piss poor. Boys better wake the hell up before next weekend. Stecher was the only one playing like he really wanted it out there. Was Caggiula even on the ice; barely heard his name or noticed him. Very disappointing, not just to lose, but to play like that.

Disappointing given how the boys played tonight. Hope they carry that into next season. Fun one to watch and a heck of a season. Like football, there is a ton of talent to look forward to next season.

For those who have been to the NCHC tourney in the past, I have a conflict for Friday's game, and would only want to go to the game on Saturday if they are in the Championship. Assuming the boys take care of business on Friday (which I'm sure they will), should I have any issues still getting tickets late on Friday night?

Any idea when they announce this? My ticket purchase kind of hinges on the time.

Can you buy single game tickets? Or is it just a day pass?

I know, wasn't a dumb play by crandall, just frustrating. I thought und played a pretty solid game against a really good opponent. With just about everyone back and the addition of baker, we will be good again next year.
