  1. I hope we aren't ranked yet. Let the players get pissed and play with a chip on their shoulder rather than having them thinking it's pretty to cool to be ranked and thinking they are better than they really are. Let's go earn it.
  2. Deez nutz might have something to say about that...
  3. Oh.....well if your ndsu math doesn't add up, then we had better reconsider this whole FCOA thing. Your record on here is deplorable. The only thing worse is probably your ndsu math.
  4. You still mad, bro?...
  5. I think it should be noted that President Kelley was probably the biggest proponent of this, and he had to be in order for Faison and the Athletics Department to move forward on it. Admittedly, I personally have been critical of many things both of these guys have or have not done since their arrival at UND. I still stand by those criticisms. However, it could have been easy for a lameduck President who has been in the crosshairs for a variety of reasons lately, to do nothing and ride it out until he's done and allow the next President to have to deal with it. Like anything, you have to take the good with the bad. I think we all need to applaud both Kelley and Faison for expediting this so fast in response to the cow college's ante. Essentially, a giant middle digit was extended 70 miles south on I-29 by both of them. Now, we wait and see what the unfortunate collateral damage may or may not be....
  6. You cant make it up. No mention of the incident at all by Dom, McFeely, or "mouthpiece" Kolpack until AFTER a statement is released saying no discipline. Now firing on all cylinders. Not surprising on the disciplinary end of things. Status quo. Nothing to see here.
  7. Ive said the same thing - potentially a precursor to a jump to FBS... But, which conference is inviting them?
  8. Just think, Bohl was never leaving FU for anything less than a Big 12 job. When he took the Wyoming job, the Fargo media and Fargo media only (Dom Izzo and Jeff "mouthpiece" Kolpack), literally made up a rumor that Wyoming was heading to the Big 12 to justify it. (everyone else giggled at this or thought it was absurd) And now, it's so ironic to see that the job Bohl left FU for cant even stream their own home games online. The truth is that Wyoming is a Big Sky School on steroids.
  9. Raise your hand (with your keyboard) if you know Rudolph's offense, the playcalling, checks at the line and progressions for the qb on every play that you may or may not have seen since last season. Add into that the intangibles of leadership, command of the huddle, and teammates willingness and confidence to believe in any qb to best give them the chance to win. Furthermore, raise your mouse if you have watched the film in staff meetings of games and practices since last season to make a case for any of the qbs. If you did, how did each guy grade out? This coaching staff lives, breathes and eats this stuff for a career and living. This is their livelihood- literally. We all need to trust their evals to put this team in the best position to win, on and off the field. If a pattern of poor coaching decisions emerges over the next couple seasons, have at it. Until then, can we just let them do their jobs and see how it plays out before we tell everyone here how wrong they are/were? We only have 11 games under the belt of this regime. I more than trust the evals and judgment of the depth chart decisions that have been made thus far. It's clear to me that Studsrud WON this job since last year in the eyes of the people who matter most. Nothing more, nothing less.
  10. I have said from the get-go that there is no chance the helmet and jersey colors will match. Unless they repaint the helmets, which is the problem in the first place. The green on the helmet is just off.
  11. Sic, you are so cute. That is the exact type of correction you are famous for on here. But yes, better...
  12. I believe Kelley and/or any UND President is/was required to give a minimum 90 days notice prior to resignation. So technically he could not have done that.
  13. I would guess that he will play with his hand on the ground as a 5 technique DE.
  14. Will be interesting to see if College Gameday has any interest in the renewal of one of the oldest rivalries in college football after a 10 year hiatus...
  15. All of this ^^^^^^. I respectfully submit that if you are on the committee and also happen to be a frequent reader of this website, you need to take heed to this. 98% of the names allowed on the list do not belong there. It's obvious which ones those are. I understand this is a result of the horrendous "process" put in place by our pathetic leadership on this issue, but I'm actually embarrassed for some members on the committee whom I know, that have to endure having these options made available to them because some misinformed committee members who have apparently have no clue voted once for any of these said nickname options.
  16. GFU? You do know we aren't in the Summit League, right?
  17. Really? That's news to me. Hadnt heard that before...
  18. There is zero chance Faison will want to go through another search(fiasco) for this position. None. He will name someone in-house....I'm hearing it will be Berry as well.
  19. Sorry for the inside joke.... Both didnt like Schweigert's nickname "Bubba" when they were hiring the football coach position.
  20. My dear lord, now Faison and Daniella Irle have TWO "Bubba" head coaches in the athletic department?!?!? Heads are going to explode.
  21. Well right.....but.... Aeron Carr.
  22. Sorry, I referring to the "track mentality" as it crosses over to football more than anything (We've seen this in recent past). My wording certainly could have been better. But you're probably right with your criticism here overall. Too early to judge a kids toughness or lack thereof before he gets on campus. My apologies. Sometimes my evals get too nit-picky too early. Guilty. I hope this kid is a tough friggin stud day 1 and that everyone points and laughs at me. That would make make me happy.
  23. I worry a little about Smith as a RB and being able to hold up. I would question his physical and mental toughness at this point. If we were in the gun and running zone read all the time, that would be different and would better suit him and his style I think. Being under center in 21 personnel sets and running power, counter and inside zone is another thing. I agree though that the coaches will put him where he benefits the team the most. I'm not sure he has the defensive mindset either, but who friggin knows. For some reason I see him as a "jet motion" inside WR type of guy but we will see.
