I agree with you. I'd also like to think that nobody on campus would be so stupid, but there are stupid people. Especially when alcohol starts flowing. I'm also not saying the frats did it for sure or were even behind it, but I can't help but think that there is a chance that they could be. To give the complete benefit of the doubt, I wouldn't think any SOBER frat person (or otherwise) would do something like this. To me, you go to the most likely culprits. The people potentially stupid enough to do it expecting (and hoping) to be wrong. It's no different than saying that NDSU might be behind it, or something more devious like the anti-nicknamers framing the pro-nicknamers so they have tangible "proof" that the nickname causes a negative atmosphere for Native Americans. All we have, to our knowledge, is conspiracy theories and finger pointing. Until some proof or some leads arise, that's all that will be heard, whether you'd prefer not to or whatever. dakotadan- Forgive my blind bias against Frats, but I actually think they are capable of doing something like this, given a few bets or pressure of some kind, a boring stretch of time, and alcohol. I must point out that not all Frats are bad nor every frat member of even the "bad" frats are bad either. I guess I'll admit my bias is based upon never having a single positive experience with a frat member or frat house. I've been around many bad experiences caused directly or indirectly by frats over time so forgive my attitude.

Watching BC destroy Miami I noticed a few things: First, Schneider is a lot better than even last year. He's positionally solid when he has to be. Second, the BC defense actually showed up for the game. Third, BC is VERY VERY good at scoring garbage goals and crashing the net. We're going to HAVE to be on top of our rebounds or it WILL get ugly. Don't know much about penalty kill or power play for BC, but as usual, the more we can get them in the box while staying out of the box ourselves, the better.

Then again, I'd enjoy just about anything that makes the "haters" hem and haw... or, more likely, ignore the facet of the game that the least favorite player contributed entirely. Don't be miffed by those posters. Most of them don't have a clue. On Brad's blog I've read posters who: 1. Think the Sioux are losing fans because they don't recruit enough North Dakotans and Northern Minnesotans (basically, they feel all UND players should be from North Dakota, EGF, and that portion of Minnesota) 2. Most of the fire Hakstol sentiment comes from the comment section 3. Every player sucks 4. Even more "You guys did good but you certainly suck anyways" type stuff. PCM- Hoboy!

I agree with DaveK on this. The only team that would do that kind of thing (trade him because he wouldn't do what they wanted) is the Hurricanes which pulled a stupid move by actually trading JMFJ to the Kings. Good work. Could you imagine Commie and JMFJ as a defensive pairing?
