Do you realize the 2019 game is 5 more seasons away? Who cares. UND's schedule is full between now and then anyway so it really didn't make a difference. You guys act like it was back to back seasons.

It was one game that meant nothing to either team emotionally - nothing - just like FBS games that change opponents every year to make money. The UND/NDSU game would have been EVERY YEAR and was as big a rivalry as there was in D2. Stop with the stupid comparisons. Also, you are adding in FBS games that are an FCS scheduling thing. This was 2003 when UND was D2.

Would the gap close if say, NDSU got slight worse than they are now. And UND got better than they are now? Or is it only reliant on UND getting better because NDSU will always be #1?

You're jumping around to different reasons that don't relate. Not good for the state when one team has 27 less scholarships and starts losing on an annual basis because of it.

Think all three of them are going to hang around for the next three years? One of them is leaving or quitting, not saying it's Studsrud but there is no way all three stay. Not with all having gotten a taste of playing time.

They will know by the end of spring ball whether he is their #1 or not. If not, he would be a flight risk, IMO. I wouldn't want to play four games as a true freshman and then sit for two years.

Saying its the "weak part of the schedule" does not mean people think UND is better than them. It means people are comparing the 12 opponents and saying which part is stronger or weaker. Really has nothing to do with UND.

The new staff recruited for about 30 days and now are just in season. If my team was as bad as his three years into it, I would blame it on others recruiting tactics too. They are getting worse every year.
