    Unfortunately there is a faction of our fan base that thinks like this. It's more important to them to keep fighting for 'no nickname', or whatever the hell, than it is to choose a new name for UND. What do those people care about most?

    All that should probably tell you something about what's going on with Joe both mentally and physically. Bubba isn't purposely not playing his best players. They are rail thin to begin with.

    Thanks...didn't even notice! If you go back and verify you will see I voted for Nodaks. Fine with RR. Indifferent on Hawks. No North Stars. Hell !@#$ no on SunDogs.

    Not really. They are two different names. You don't go protest about wanting to stay North Dakota if you have evolved onto Nodaks (as your new way to stay as close to Sioux as possible). Like the hockey players.

    How could any Bison fan say they had a talent drop off? All we have heard from your media voices, verbatim, is how they get pretty much any player they want now. End quote. They said it on the radio last week when talking about Joe Glenn's comments on their recruiting. Your fans claim every February that your recruiting class is the best ever and you killed SDSU, UND, USD, UNI and everyone else for all upper midwest talent. Losing a QB should not move the needle at all if you got all this high-end talent on the roster. Something isn't adding up.

    Then, you need to keep reading about what I have written about Berry on Hennen's show. Why do you think they really want Nodaks based on what you have read from their statements?

    Really? Every member of the men’s and women’s hockey teams that I spoke to said that their choice is Nodaks. A couple of the women’s players said they may not vote. But I didn’t have anyone tell me they are voting for any name other than Nodaks.

    Which is exactly what I said. Then, I took it further and added in Berry's comments via Hennen's radio interview where they basically talked about the Sioux nickname for a good part of the time. He kept emphasizing how they are going to continue to honor the past in the program, blah blah. Which means they are going to continue to draw on the Sioux name for motivation, etc. Which means they sure as hell aren't embracing the new name for anything. Why do you think they want something that is "as close to North Dakota" as possible? For the reasons I laid out above. You guys refuse to believe the hockey team has ulterior motives in this thing, unreal how you cannot believe what you are reading. Hell, even Jim came out and agreed that it appears that way and he is as level headed on here as anyone.
