Doing it? Or allowing NDSU to host it at their stores for publicity as 'NDSU' paraded them around the region? Pretty sure Scheels wasn't sending their employees around with the trophies.
The Idaho AD addressed it and said it is possible one way but not another. Tells me he has already had the discussion with somebody so it's not completely made up.
Having Idaho in the conference is great for the conferences overall academic/athletic profile. They aren't a regional junior college teachers school like some other FCS teams are.
100% agree.
I was just wondering how he wants to achieve this diversity and at what cost, based on our location in the world. If we have 21% non-whites now is he going to set a goal of like 30%? Just wondering is all.
Doesn't it seem a bit "forced" to try and make diversity happen? We live in North Dakota where it is mostly all white people. How hard would he need to work and how many resources would have to be used to create more diversity just for the sake of creating it?
There is a second public meeting tomorrow at 11:30am at Union. Hopefully, everyone within a 3,000 mile radius will be there. That is IF you care about the logo at all.
...and now you're worried about the NCAA getting involved with Title IX issues at NDSU? That's rich.
Just remember, when FCOA is implemented NDSU will be giving male athletes about 20% more of the pot.
