Once again, you are missing the deception. There was no contingency in the offer to Graetz. It was a bonafide 100% offer and he was taking it. The Florida kid was lied to about his future and brought up to Fargo for no reason two days later. The Florida kid never got offered and was pissed off that they completely wasted his time. NDSU reactively wanted Graetz because of UND's offer. Hence, the "don't tell anyone we offered you" request. Classy start to the Entz regime.
