  1. I think I speak for about 95% of "us" when I say just keep your hands inside the ride and speak for yourself. "us" in this case refers to people whose opinions actually matter.
  2. Dennis Miller 18 hrs ยท Thank you to the Native American community for verifying something I've believed for a long time! There's a big difference between a logo and having perpetual helpless mascot status forced on you by whiny liberal do-gooder pains-in-the-asses.
  3. He was at the helm of teams that ended 211 and 203 match win streaks in the same school year. he obviously can't get it done anymore.
  4. Hmm. My score seems to be stuck. 150 minutes and 45 seconds.
  5. If Tim Thomas didn't want to go to the White House that is fine.......just don't go. Say you have a "thing" that day. No need to step up on your soap box about it.
  6. Chill out. I believe that it was more of an intended jab at the average Bison mouth breather than a shot at the level of football our schools play. "Most" UND fans acknowledge that at the end of the day our football team is competing for a 129th place and are fine with that while "many" of the mouth breathing fans have a hard time handling that fact.
  7. With the WCHA vacating the Excel Energy Center next year it is time for the NCHC to make a move. Option A----notify the Target Center that they would like to modify their agreement and in 2017 they will be using the Excel and beginning in 2018 they will use the Target Center every other year alternating with the Excel Energy Center. Option B----if the Target Center is not agreeable with the contract change, then finish out the agreement in 2017 and 2018 and starting in 2019 begin play at the Excel Energy Center and alternating with Sioux Falls.
  8. Last 4 or 5 years for a big series I wanted Marco and Derek.
  9. Like when a Jury comes back early or takes a long time? I don't think it has anything to do with time. If I had to guess he is leaning towards coming back, he will go to the Black Hawks summer camp and then talk with his advisors, coaches, family, etc.
  10. Different story when we were D2. I am going to say very few of the non-scholarship guys on the baseball team didn't just show up on campus without the coaching staff being aware of it.
  11. Mostly by the Athletes themselves I believe although they may get a small chunk from student fees through student government.
  12. I really, REALLY need the Caps to get their sh!t together.
  13. Crap. Anywhere but Vancouver, Pittsburgh, or Boston.
  14. I could be wrong but I thought Miller was actually on campus that summer.
  15. Hrkac was one and done......wait, I'm back, and then one and done again.
  16. The problem you will run into is who is going to pay for this merchandise? We are in the business of making it and selling it to retail so I guess we will see how confident the retailers like Scheels, The Ralph, and others are in this merchandise moving and how much they will buy initially?
  17. Cute. Found my way there 3 times last year and 4 times the year before. Hit every home hockey game except 1 this year and caught 5 basketball games as well.....did you have a point or just spouting mindless drivel again?
  18. Maybe they thought we were a different bird? It's not like you attend games anyway. Get over it.
  19. Not an expert on title 9 by any stretch but did a little research using some recent numbers. UND has a 57/43 men to women ratio and offers sports that allow for 150 scholarships for men and 135 for women which puts us ahead of the curve at 53/47. As far as participation we are at 250 males and 212 females which again is ahead of the curve at 54/46. NDSU has a 55/45 men to women ration and offers sports that allow for 127 scholarships for men and 95 for women which slightly puts them on the wrong side at 57/43 and they have participation numbers of 292 males and 149 female athletes which throw them way out of whack at 66/34. Maybe we should model our Title 9 compliance program after theirs? I think the answer for UND is to add Women's Rowing to the mix and get rid of some of the money draining women's sports like Hockey and Soccer(I know Big sky....but exceptions can and have been made to other schools). I believe it is 14 scholarships but looking at participation numbers, schools like Iowa and Minnesota have around 90 female athletes in rowing......I am guessing they probably have 15-20 or more ladies on campus who are on the rowing team and may not even realize it.
  20. Well, it is a pay cut for the average SEC football player.
