Really? I'm sorry, I just don't see a player who was going to score that many goals for us in this league. He's got a great shot and he's good in space, but he doesn't consistently create enough. I can understand wanting OTHERS to go before him, but I think he didn't want to be Bottom 6 and maybe not on PP, so he made his own decision. Bolded part is fair. Definitely a panic move by Jandric, but he likely felt he was about to give away a breakaway in OT. So, my guess, is he made the move to prevent a breakaway. If they don't score on the PP, it's the right move. C'est la vie.

We definitely do. Defense will be very solid, so will goaltending. We play the slippery slope of assuming, but we have to assume some sort of progression from all players. Judd and Gaber feel like our must haves. That will take a little bit of jump from Juddy to stay consistent. Need these two to perform. From there, Costantini, Schmaltz, Portz, Kunz should all take steps forward to score goals. Jammer proved some scoring punch earlier this year. Maybe he keeps pushing forward with that. Hain (maybe more than the rest), Sendo, Albrecht, Ness all will chip in. The two rookies I know will come in will be Blake and McLaughlin and will immediately slot in as Top 6. Both will definitely inject some life into this offense. Strinden may play a bottom 6 role, but he absolutely can contribute. We should and need to be around 3.3 or 3.5 goals per game next year and if we are, we've got a really good chance of being really, really good.

I imagine him in the similar role, honestly. I can see him paired with Jandric, Moore, or Johnson and let those three offensive horses gallop and covering them when needed. I saw a lot of tape of him in the past two days and the kid is so dang responsible and full of effort. I'm very, very happy with this move.

It's not a comparison of his offensive skills. It's his skating, effort, size that comp to Stetchy. He's a very, very good hockey player.

I can absolutely see Budy being gone. I don't think he will be, but I could see him leaving. Kunz and Monty, I would be very surprised to see them go.

Since I heard about him last night, I was able to see some of his video from last season. Definitely not going to wow with his offense very often, but he is an all-effort dude, a phenomenal skater, and is incredibly smart. He spent a significant amount of time covering the mistakes of some rather.... well, young... and well... ambitious ... teammates last season. Not meaning to drag the dude, but Farmer absolutely helped make Scott Morrow this past season. He had to be... let's say, extra careful, at times and put out a lot of fires LOL. I'm super excited about him.

Top 4, definitely. One year left, unfortunately. I'd say he'd be our third best D behind Frisch and Kleven.

I personally LOVE that the NHL is on ESPN+. As an out of state fan of the Rangers, I've watched more games of theirs this season than I have in 15 years.
