Ludvig's Revenge .... is that a new video game?

Having watched every team play, UND is absolutely deserving of their current standing in the polls. What makes you think we shouldn't be ranked that high? We've beaten the currently ranked No. 1, No. 6, No. 8 team, not to mention solid programs like UMD and Minnesota State.

LOL he's basically a point per game and is tied for second in goals on the team. Not his normal pace, but hardly not a good start for the guy.

It's INSANE that's his lede of the story. We absolutely dominated that game outside of the first four minutes. Had that major never occurred, they would still have had to scramble for TWO ENGs. Not one. Two.

It really has been impressive. All six of our regular defensemen along with Persson have been brilliant. Such a dramatic difference than last season. They four players brought in from the portal are all so sound and structured in their own zone, you can are 100% certain why they were recruited for this season (and some for more).

That part is definitely accurate that he said it just prior to last season, but I'd like to know if @scpa0305 heard anything different about this in the long run. I would love to know if Spicer was told he would for sure come in 2022 at any point. That has always felt unlikely simply because he committed at what, age 15? That's a hard promise.

My question is, did the plan change at the 12th hour? Everything I heard about this was that Spicer (and his crew) and the coaching staff had different ideas of the actual plan. This is all moot. It is a bummer if there was a genuine misunderstanding. It would be worse if the plan completely changed without Spicer knowing it. My guess is there was probably a middle answer on all of this.

What a ridiculous argument this is. Do any of us really feel that us winning in OT shouldn't be a win? We legit got a win on our record for it. Cripes.

Nah, I wouldn't say that. He believed in himself or what his advisors told him and made his choice. Only thing I had or have concern about is if the people around him are giving the best possible advice. He seems to be having a solid year. He made his move.

Hindsight is 20/20. Those two were apart of a team that was all-in on trying to win a title and provided qualities that were going to help with that vs. a player who would be in the stands. Obviously it didn't work out. C'est la vie.

TOTALLY agree. This was my assessment of the weekend, summed up. When we got to a puck possession game, we were stronger and more skilled. Celebrini and Hutson are both all-world, but if you take them away, no one stood out all weekend. With the exception of the last 7 minutes on Saturday, we HEAVILY out possessed that team 5 on 5. I would love to see them in the tourney.
