  1. I wouldn't hate seeing him, but we need a sweep against this team for PWR.
  2. Well, I won't pick a shutty for Ludvig tonight. Maybe I jinxed him lol. He'll be back to his early season self tonight, IMO. UND wins 7-2 Gaber x2, Blake, Strinden, James, Jammer, Pyke... Perron with 3 assists.
  3. #firesandy? Simple questions.
  4. I agree. I hope we do get him some time soon, though. I honestly have no idea is Persson would come back next season, but he can. With that said, we need Hobey to get some net sometime this season. I think collectively as a program we're so nervous about bad PWR losses because they've haunted us a few times over the past five years or so. Kind of reminds me when we were playing Lake State in the 2014-15 season. Zane was the clear No. 1 with Cam on the bench. Cam came in and got lit up, I think it was 3 goals on like 8 shots, and got yanked. Well, we know how it worked out the next season LOL.
  5. I understand the desire for that stuff to never happen, but you're making it sound endemic. This d-corps has been impressive all season. I feel like those were two pretty significant, general sweeping statements for a team that has been wholly consistent for 11 games. Are you genuinely concerned that these two things are a big problem? If so, I guess I watched a different game than you last night.
  6. Not sure what was up with Persson last night. But, he's earned the benefit of the doubt, IMO. I think he'll be sharp tonight. Yep, we were 4-5-2 last year through 11 games. Dang good swing.
  7. Looking a little deeper into it, Miami scored back-to-back goals within about a minute of each other TWICE in this game, once in the second and one with basically no time left in a blowout. That's a few bad shifts. Last year's team would collapse for 30 minute stretches. Outside of those two spurts, it wasn't even close. Do I want UND to never have these things happen, of course. But, I'll say it again, that game was never in doubt. Do it again tonight.
  8. My only concern coming out of last night is that we had two or three spurts of playing down to Miami. This happens. That game was never in doubt, at all, IMO. Looking back at Ludvig's goals, 3 of 4 were through screens and all four came back-to-back in quick succession when the boys got a little lax. I am not worried about him whatsoever. Roll it off tomorrow and get the sweep as UND is significantly a better team.
  9. Kid has been unreal this year and I think it continues this weekend. Shutty in his first game against the RedHawks I have a little concern that UND could have a small let down after a run of really important games, but we're just a flat out better team and we keep rolling. 5-0 UND Perron, Wiebe, Blake, OMac, Ness
  10. Or, you know, we could just destroy them because I never want to lose to Denver because eff Denver LOL Totally get where you're coming from haha.
  11. No doubt. I've yet to witness this team have any real, significant letdowns. I'm confident that that continues. Do the job, get the 6 points.
  12. After several weeks of big-time match ups against rivals, Top 10 teams, maybe we're not overly threatened? LOL. I have no doubt the boys won't be taking them lightly and our tendy will be absolutely locked and loaded.
  13. Ludvig's Revenge .... is that a new video game?
  14. Having watched every team play, UND is absolutely deserving of their current standing in the polls. What makes you think we shouldn't be ranked that high? We've beaten the currently ranked No. 1, No. 6, No. 8 team, not to mention solid programs like UMD and Minnesota State.
  15. It's something lol
  16. Same with that YouTube "podcast" from those gentlemen from St. Cloud lol.
  17. LOL he's basically a point per game and is tied for second in goals on the team. Not his normal pace, but hardly not a good start for the guy.
  18. It's INSANE that's his lede of the story. We absolutely dominated that game outside of the first four minutes. Had that major never occurred, they would still have had to scramble for TWO ENGs. Not one. Two.
  19. It really has been impressive. All six of our regular defensemen along with Persson have been brilliant. Such a dramatic difference than last season. They four players brought in from the portal are all so sound and structured in their own zone, you can are 100% certain why they were recruited for this season (and some for more).
  20. Agreed. Rumors about Tychonick bad mouthing UND feels like All things Fighting Sioux Facebook group nonsense. That isn't a shot at you @hockeytherapy13. I've just never seen any.
  21. I don't recall anything other than jawing at the crowd during a game. That's just him being a kid. What did he say?
  22. What made Tychonick not respectful? Jw.
  23. That part is definitely accurate that he said it just prior to last season, but I'd like to know if @scpa0305 heard anything different about this in the long run. I would love to know if Spicer was told he would for sure come in 2022 at any point. That has always felt unlikely simply because he committed at what, age 15? That's a hard promise.
  24. My question is, did the plan change at the 12th hour? Everything I heard about this was that Spicer (and his crew) and the coaching staff had different ideas of the actual plan. This is all moot. It is a bummer if there was a genuine misunderstanding. It would be worse if the plan completely changed without Spicer knowing it. My guess is there was probably a middle answer on all of this.
