I think you misunderstood what I was saying. I wasn't critizing you're post at all. You are exactly right, I was referring to the reporter and the person she quotes in the article. I said keep it respectful and classy as pertaining to any emails that we send to her, so it doesn't make us Sioux fans look like idiots.
If anyone is interested here is her email:

Please keep it appropriate, respectful, and classy. A journalist needs to hear both sides of the story and clearly whoever she was quoting about the warpaint is completely rediculous. She and that guy clearly have never been to a game before. No one would dare disrespect the Sioux name like that.
Its nice to know we're getting another player from Shattuck. I'm reading the book the Talent Code and the author talks about "talent hotbeds." Places such as Russia for Tennis, Brazil for soccer, and a place in Dallas for singers. I think we'd have to have Shattuck as a talent hotbed. The players that develop there become great hockey players.
Everyone talks about how we stole Parise from the Gophers backyard, can you imagine if we landed this guy? He skated on a rink in his backyard with the gopher logo! I'd give the Sioux a 5% chance of landing him. Only if he leaves and goes into the US NTDP do I give the Sioux a chance at landing him.
Yeah they both will be here for another year at least. I never said they were a flight risk for 2011, I clearly said for 2012, but that poster clearly didn't understand my post.
Now thats impressive turnout for mens ice hockey, but for womens! Wow. Someday, we'll see a game like that at the Ralph for the ladies, it will take 2-3+ years of great promotion and good teams in order to get there.
In 2012, you never know. The right team drafts him and with another year of development, both him and Forbort ARE a flight risk. Not next year, but in 2 years absolutely he could leave early. Teams in the NHL are getting younger and younger, Ex. Jack Johnson, Erik Johnson.
Awesome pics! Always looking for some high resolution pics. If you have any more of any year of the Sioux, especially old time photos PLEASE PLEASE post them!
Good point. I love when we see brothers playing for the Sioux. The Hoogsteens, Panzers, Genoways, Jones', Zajac, Parise, the list goes on. I'd think we have room for him in 2012, with Forbort/Simpson as a flight risk.
Blues really shipping off defensemen as of late. Brewer and Johnson both gone now. I'm really surprised by that move. He's assistant captain as well. The way it was looking is that he was going to backstop this D for years to come.
Former MN Gopher Erik Johnson traded from Blues to Avalanche. Also Kevin Shattenkirk, former BU defenseman, is part of the deal.

When out of state tuition is double that of instate, it deters students from going to that school. Smart out of staters will just go to UMD/UM/SCSU/Mankato. Can UND really fill classes if they have unreasonable tuition for out of state students?
