To leave the state for higher paying jobs. Really it doesn't matter if ND kids are getting educated at ND schools or MN kids are getting educated at ND schools. Ulitmately the goal is to keep kids in ND. The worry shouldn't be about where the kids are from, but where they go after UND.

Lets not forget first off who we've the past 3 games, not even top 5 teams in the WCHA. Everyone is writing off Genoway and Kristo like its because of the absence of them that has pushed this 3 game win streak. Lets not forgot that our bench is as deep as they come. We have players sitting every night that would be in the lineups on nearly every college and CHL team. Thats a luxury not many teams have.

Definitely can smell the almonds when you come in. -
Nice to have a lead over Duluth in the standings now. Now we need DU to start unraveling (let it be known I'm not rooting for the Gophers).
-
No he was just being a jerk about comparing Trupp situation to Kristos.
-
He has been dealing with flu like symptoms so that might be a reason why Hak and Co gave him the night off tonight.
-
Great news, made me nervous right when I saw the hit. Frattin was player of the game.
-
Didn't really stand out to me, but plays tough and is solid.
-
What a great luxury we have as a program to have Davidson, Rowney, Gleason, Simpson, list goes on to come in a fill in great depth. Every line is dangerous.

7 even strength goals, don't see that very often, especially with as many goals that were scored. Sioux, as has been mentioned, toyed with UAA tonight. UND was by far the better team. UAA didn't fight like a team on the road needs to.
-
Good to see Gregoire back out there. I haven't seen Trupp back.
-
DU beats MN 2-1 as well.
-
Duluth loses 8-2 against SCSU, what happened? At home too, yikes.
-
Trupp back on the bench now. Never like seeing knee to knee hits.
-
Appears to be okay, standing on the bench now. No update on Trupp
-
Looked like Gregoire was being looked at by Poolman, down the tunnel. Shoulder possibly.
-
Trupp just had a knee to knee hit. Now he's out.
-
Looking like a team tonight thats for sure. Every player from UAA who touches the puck is getting hit. Its creating great chances each shift.
-
Absolutely great goal, great feed from Frattin.
-
What it sounded like UAA did was far more conservative though, keeping 4 back.

Usually a trap is used when one team such as Alaska Anch is playing a more talented team. They become more defensive in there approach and to force turnovers. It also is used, as has been discussed on another thread, when the Sioux have a late lead in the game, often times a trap is employed. Basically becoming more defensive. When the puck goes into the more talented teams end (in AAs case) or the Sioux's opponent (if they have a lead), only one player will attack and 4 players will stay back in the neutral zone. Or only 2 will attack and three will stay back. Thats how you get the different numbers of 1-2-2, in that case one player would be forward attacking, two in the neutral zone in the center to cut off the passing lanes (and push players to the outside boards), and two back. Here's actually a really simple youtube video showing it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xq4Q6XKZx_w

Did you watch the game in the 2nd half? Steelers would completely the better team. They did get into the game and controlled it. If it wasn't for Mendenhalls fumble, Big Ben would be celebrating another title and raped a couple ladies to celebrate. Rodgers quietly put up a solid game, there is no possible way you can tell me its even in the top ten of Super Bowl performances. He though hes a class act and would love to him have in our organization. Young, Montana, Montana, Brady, Brady, Manning, Rice, Smith, Brown, Lewis, Elway, the list goes on and on.
-
Already talking crap? Wow. I thought you'd show a little class when it came to the Packers win. And yes they barely one. Pitt over and over again in the second half had chances to take the lead. Thankfully for you and fanbase another stupid Steelers late hit killed the potential for a drive. Big Ben starting on the 35 or whatever, that drive would have been completely different.

I hate when teams do this type of style, especially with a one goal lead. Often times we blow the lead. Not so much this year, as we've done a nice job in close games holding onto leads, for the most part.

Didn't expect to see the grammar police out today. I guess we're all pretty bored without the Sioux playing in over a week.
