Just wait. We have barely scrapped the surface. Just imagine in 5+ yrs as quickly as technology is changing. I have cousins who are now getting into high school who I'm pretty sure have never read a complete book (50+ pages). Not even a Goosebumps or Matt Christopher book! Don't get me wrong, I played video games, probably too much. But what we as a society sow is what we'll reap. The more anti social we become and media dependent, thats when we're in trouble. Major trouble.

Great call. I took my Peewee boys to a WHL game two weeks ago and it was great to see the boys interacting. Its also great for the coaches as well to interact with players on a non practice/game situation.

But sports is sports, thats the luxury we have to root for any team in the country. Its just funny how many "fans" there are when a team is going to the Super Bowl. I can't count the number of Saints jerseys I seen around.

I second this. A DUI is totally different and is borderline grounds for a dismissal from the team IMO. We need to get stricter about DUIs, just as a society. Accountablity is a huge issue with people nowadays, if a player gets a minor of course I don't condone it, but I don't feel the first one is grounds for a suspension. DUI is definitely grounds for suspension.

Yeah it does, when it comes to pro sports it does wash out. College is a whole different ball game. I'd say the basically every Packer fan I know wasn't raised a Packer fan by there parents, so that argument doesn't work. But I'm a type of person that expects a person to show respect to their home teams. Being born and raised in Grand Forks, I expect people in Grand Forks to cheer for UND, not the Gophers. So thats a whole different argument, but it blows my mind when I have met kids who are Gopher fans from GF.

Completely agree, its a great game. Online mode leaves a little to be desired. Game speed is far too slow and players lose control of the puck far too easily. But other than that, so amazing when you go back and compare to NHL 10. Just waiting for college hockey to get added to it. CHL is there, and there is talks to add college teams. That would be amazing. Too bad by then the Sioux logo will be gone of the jersey. Tragedy

For sure, NFL is on top of it when it comes to justin.tv. Can't see really any games online at that site for NFL. NHL/MLS/NBA aren't nearly as strict about it. MLB is another that is extremely strict about it. Last year, I don't have cable, I couldn't catch a single Twins playoff game online.
