  1. He presented it as if he knew with certainty that Jost will bolt after his freshman season with no facts or information to back it up besides 'The Avs are bad and he has a single mother so he'll want the contract'. If he would've framed this in more of a 'I think there's a good chance he'll sign' vs 'Breaking News: Tyson Jost will leave UND after this season' it would've been fine.
  2. Did you stick around Schenectady for NYE? It sounded like it was a pretty quiet town based on Schloss' travel blog.
  3. Made Matt O'Connor's goal from the 2015 Frozen Four look ok in comparison...
  4. Let's just hope this USA doesn't follow SCSU's formula once they hit single elimination tournaments.
  5. That makes sense, wasn't following the line of reason initially. Yup, good hands can translate to a good short game or in certain instances they can hurt too. If you get too handsy it's really easy to chunk/skull those delicate shots too that you generally want to eliminate your hands from. From what I have heard TJ is not going to be joining the tour after his hockey career but certainly can hold his own with most people he plays. I tried searching a handicap on the GHIN site but no such luck. Just from watching his swing and knowing how athletic he is, I'd guess high single digit handicapper.
  6. Wow I didn't realize they snuck up to 11th, big series. Here's to hoping Boeser can play and remind everyone he's got the best shot in the country when healthy.
  7. Huge game for PWR, lose and we start 2017 on the edge of tourney contention, win and we're probably around 7-8 in good position. UND 3-2
  8. How so? You realize it's UMass Amherst, right?
  9. These 2 have to be related...
  10. Girls, girls... you're both weird
  11. Agreed, I think for the most part Jost was the difference in the BC game. Seeing as he's playing the WJC, we need some people to put the puck in the net. Oh also, they have some players we might wanna slow down. Enjoy the game and cheer loud!
  12. Yeah a PP at best is 25-30%. I'd have to think a penalty shot % is going to be around 50%. With a good player, closer to 60%.
  13. I've heard from a Union fan not to sleep on Spencer Foo either. He's 1st in the nation in assists and 2nd in points.
  14. Gotta disagree, less skilled players and you'd increase the already high # of man advantages
  15. <grabs popcorn & prepares for another nickname debate on SS.com>
  16. Negative, webcast is the only way to watch
  17. Ah makes more sense now
  18. Maybe I'm slow but who's the Richter winner that they've "already picked" this year? Seems like it may be up in the air at this point.
  19. You think he'd at least get to dress for road games!
  20. A 1-0 USA win sounds about right w/ 55-60 shots on net
  21. This being said, I have a question that's a bit of a tangent. Say your #1 goalie for your college hockey team plays for a different country & you have guys playing for your country that you'll likely face in NCAAs. Do you tell the guys 'Hey this goalie is weak five hole or is known to cheat the pass on a 2 on 1', knowing that they could use it against him in the NCAA postseason down the line?
  22. Jost hasn't seen the Russian goalie every day and it didn't seem to matter
  23. Yeah I'd bet $$$ they medal.
