  1. I do always read your posts in Starman's voice haha
  2. There will be plenty of fans for the UND/SCSU game and maybe Miami/Denver will benefit from some of those fans staying. I know I'll stay to watch it as it should be a good game. As far as Denver and Miami fans, hopefully they can crack the 100 fan mark once you combine the two fanbases.
  3. You sure it's not opposite day?
  4. Should be great prep for the NCAAs
  5. Well that makes me feel a little better I'll do my best!
  6. Minnesota drops to 14 in pairwise, I'm guessing because Notre Dame lost? I'd also assume we're cheering for VT to beat BC(as if we weren't already).
  7. Haha that's about the only bounce there was
  8. Am I missing something in the video? Because I see Chyzyk get his stick in to break up the pass/tip in to the zone and CC failing to get a puck deep leading to a turnover. Where is the "bounce"?
  9. According to the C Springs gazette, that play was caused by a "bad bounce" Huh?!
  10. The years between 87 and 97 are nowhere near 4-25-5 so can't really compare. Also, twitter wasn't around allowing people to assemble quickly for the purposes of destroying a town
  11. Was behind the net he scored on, it was a thing of beauty
  12. Interesting, St. Clair out
  13. Yup, that's what I missed.
  14. Yeah he seemed to actually know what he was talking about unless I missed something?
  15. It reminded me of Mario blocking a shot against the Gophers that hit him so hard he could only stand on one leg. He hobbles around on one skate then dives in front of the next puck too. I believe MN scored on that PP but you couldn't even be mad, you knew Mario literally left everything on the ice.
  16. Crap, I already missed the game?
  17. Yup, the only silver lining I can find is in the way he went out. He gave up his body to kill a penalty that led to a 5 on 3 penalty kill which catapulted us to a sweep. It takes a lot of f'in guts to do that, and it's what Sioux hockey is all about. Giving up your own goals, ambitions and health(in this case) for the betterment of the team. The penalty kill literally was a key moment in us capturing the Penrose Cup as well. Also, this was one of the loudest standing ovations I've ever heard, definitely the loudest for a penalty kill. The crowd truly appreciated what Mark, Stecher, and Caggiula were laying on the line when they blocked those shots.
  18. I actually like going to Joe Black's before the game. It's much more laid back at the time of day and they have cheap drinks and food. Now after the game is a different story. Then the "whoo girls and shots" come out.
  19. Yeah that's the problem with the Big 10. They're all playing 3rd fiddle to "more important" sports
  20. I bet there's a lot of Wisconsin fans who have said the exact same thing a few years ago... But I agree, it wouldn't get that bad. It shows a complete lack of leadership and pride from your team. To only win 4 games in a conference as bad as the Big 10 is absolutely astounding.
  21. As there should be, 4-24-4 for a program like Wisconsin is inexcusable. Grand Forks might get burned to the ground if UND ever had a record even remotely close to that. Hell, it would be chaos if we missed the NCAAs!
