Yeah it's for the 1st 12 months, then I just call and re-negotiate. I did it with Comcast all the time. The steps go like this: 1. They tell me why package went up 2. I tell them what my budget allows per month 3. They say they can't give me that price 4. I ask politely to cancel my service. 5. They transfer me to customer retention department 6. I win

I'm literally getting mine setup for the 1st time on Monday. For a Tivo(better, more intuitive version of DVR) in our living room and 2 "Tivo Minis" in 2 other rooms plus the preferred channel package and sports variety my monthly bill comes to $118.

I will say after just moving to GF from Minneapolis, Midco blows Comcast out of the water in technology as well as price.

Came out flying against Denver on Friday, so that's promising.

I wanted the '82 jersey but set a limit of $200 for myself. The amazing part is that I stuck to my guns and didn't disregard said limit. Logic and reason generally go out the window for me when Sioux apparel is on the line.

If I already have tickets and hotel room figured out is there a way to join the on-bus shenanigans for a reduced fee?

Yeah I guess I'm thinking of some UMN fans that have some cash to burn will offer on of the other team's fans a few hundred dollars to stay home and watch the game, they may get some tix off the secondary market. Myself, I wouldn't sell my tickets for $1,000.

If UMN is there I'd expect maybe 25% UMN fans, 70% UND, 5% other. If UMN isn't there, I'd probably say 90-95% UND fans.

Isn't Hakstol's record when leading going into the 3rd period impeccable? Can't remember the stat but I seem to recall his teams being very good at finishing games. Also, let's not pretend like our defense played terrible. Zane let in a goal from the half-wall and one from below the goal line. I thought our defense played very well in the 3rd period. Zane let in 2 bad goals by his standards and we had a good goal waved off. Realistically this game should have been a 5-2 or 5-3 win at worst. All of the above things combined vs. a good top 10 Denver team will result in giving up a 2 goal lead. I don't think our issue was going into a "defensive shell".

We played well enough to sweep this weekend but that BS no goal call really screwed us over. 4-2 game changes everything. The play is really promising from the team though.

I do miss this part of college hockey too. I remember as a kid either Mike Commodore or Lee Goren got into a fight behind the net I was sitting at in the Old Ralph. When all was said and done, their was blood splattered all over the glass. As a kid, I thought this was the coolest thing ever.

I've never considered Michigan much of a rival. Don't play them often enough and '11 felt like it was more us that lost that game rather than them winning it, if that makes sense? Plus they lost the next night to UMD anyways. UMN, DU, BC, WISCO
