I can't blame the OP for this thought. It also went through my head when i saw Mark on the ice last weekend walking without a brace and with no noticeable limp. Ah yes! now that you mention that sauce to JS I do remember. That one made me damn near soil myself. Honestly a lot of that game is a blur for me because I was so nervous/excited but that play does stick out now. The one play that stuck out to me was Panzarella coming up the ice and making a really good short pass under a Dman's stick onto our guy's tape to keep a rush moving up ice going instead of the same old ring it around the boards.

I honestly didn't see him fumble the puck in the defensive zone at all and I was looking for it. Now on the offensive side maybe he was but I was on the opposite end of the rink of their offense for 2 periods so could have missed it. Plus he scored probably the biggest goal of the season for us, so I'm happy with how he played

Yeah LJ played great, those hits in the 2nd period against QU set the tone of the game. He destroyed both of those guys. One of the hits almost reminded me of the hit Oshie put on Rick Nash a while back. Defensive guy comes in looking to lay a big hit and ends up flat on his back. I honestly was surprised how poised Panzarella looked with the puck. I don't remember him fumbling the puck much, at least not in the defensive zone. Thought he made a few really nice breakout passes through neutral ice.

Lol, it's really amazing that the "as the 4th best team in the NCHC", UND has managed not only to win the Penrose Cup but be one of two NCHC teams left standing in the Frozen Four.
