Dodgers making lots of moves: Dee Gordon, Dan Haren, and Miguel Rojas to Miami for Andrew Heaney, Enrique Hernadez, Chris Hatcher, and Austin Barnes. Andrew Heaney to the Angels for Howie Kendrick. Matt Kemp and Time Federowicz to San Diego for Yasmani Grandal, Joe Wieland, and a prospect. They also have a trade for Jimmy Rollins and a deal in place with Brandon McCarthy but those aren't official yet.

I think Pat Narduzzi would be a good fit but in the press conference Alvarez said he is looking for someone with head coaching experience. Sounds like Chryst, Dave Clawson who reportedly finished 2nd when Andersen got the job and Dave Doeren could be on the short list.
-
Yeah at what was called one of the toughest power 5 jobs in the country, have seen some saying the relationship between him and Alvarez wasn't real great and they definitely had some disagreements on how to build and run a program.
-
Gary Andersen is leaving Wisconsin to take the Oregon State job. Andersen taking that job makes absolutely no sense to me and seems like a step backwards but as a Gopher football fan this whole thing just makes me laugh.

University of North Dakota Hockey 2014-15 season

North Dakota MHockey @UNDmhockey 7m7 minutes ago Dave Hakstol: sophomore defenseman Troy Stecher is probably out for approximately 6-8 weeks. -

White Sox might be having the best offseason trading for Samardzija, signing Robertson to be their closer, and adding LaRoche to DH.
-
He is good athlete but relies on that too much and needs to learn what it takes to be an actual NFL receiver. He has been dealing with nagging injuries and missed a lot of practice time throughout the season and that hurts him a lot more than others as he still needs to get a lot better at things like running routes, reading coverage, and getting by a press DB.

I really like the Baylor and Michigan State matchup. Georgia and Louisville could be another good one Louisville's DC Grantham coaching against his former team.
-
Yep probably the best matchup for the Gophers out of the SEC and some nice exposure for the program as that game will be on ABC during New Years Day I'll say Gophers 24-21.
-
Another win for the Vikes against a team they should have beat. Teddy looked real good today and Charles Johnson had another nice day and has been the best WR for a few weeks now. Vikes still will have a lot of positions that will need to be upgraded in the offseason though to get to be a playoff level team.
-
That isn't even remotely true.
-
Agreed, I would imagine the Big 12 commissioner is working right now to get the waiver to have a Big 12 Championship game next year.
-
Agreed, would be really tough if it was an 8 team playoff this year to pick #8.
-
Would be tough to put Miss State in ahead of Ole Miss since they lost to them the last game of the regular season.
-
Michigan State and the last spot is pretty tough and would probably come down to Miss St. and Ole Miss for me.
-
I'd go with 1.Oregon 2.Alabama 3.Florida State 4.Ohio State

Ohio State looks very good tonight wouldn't be surprised to see them end up in the top 4 tomorrow. With the way he has played tonight how many teams would Ohio State's #3 QB be the starter for?
-
The Stecher injury didn't look good at all and hoping it is nothing major but would expect him to at the very least miss next weekend. LSSU did a much better job of clogging lanes and blocking shots tonight but I thought the Sioux missed the net on a lot of solid opportunities and at times passed up good opportunities trying to force great plays. Defensive zone play was very solid tonight and giving LSSU very few quality opportunities. Was glad to see Hak start Zane again tonight and not take any chances. I thought the reffing was pretty questionable tonight the head contact call on Ausmus and the tripping call on Gaarder were really bad.
-
Never know for sure but stuff posted there and especially by that person usually is pretty solid.

Liked this exchange between Hak and Schloss last nigh that UNDSID tweeted out: Schlossman: "What do you know about (the health status) of Caggiula and St.Clair?" Hakstol: "Honestly, this time, I don't know." Schlossman: "Does that mean you weren't honest last time?" Hakstol: "Pretty much, yep."
-
I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Zane back next year but if he isn't it would likely be an open competition between Cam and whoever we bring in with the 2 probably splitting series until someone takes control. The tough part for the coaching staff is they almost have to recruit a goalie that could come in next season but also could be pushed back a year if Zane is back.

Dixon Bowen had a goal and assist in a 4-1 win over Breck. Mitchell Mattson had a natural hat trick and an assist in a 8-1 win over Roseau. Have heard his Grand Rapids team is very good this year with 6 or so future D1 players on the team. 7AA will be really good come playoff time with Duluth East, Elk River, and Grand Rapids battling for the title this year.

Oregon looked very good again last night I think Mariota's performance clinched the Heisman for him. I would be a little surprised if Oregon doesn't move up to #1 in the committee's final rankings on Sunday.
-
Agreed can't afford to get down 3-0 again because Cam gives up a couple softies like the 2nd and 3rd goals last night. Get a comfortable lead and let him play the 3rd.
