Yes there is through 45 TV as usual it is on channel 5 for me with Sjobergs cable in NW Minnesota.
-
STA 3 Duluth East 2 after 1. STA had 3 real good chances on 3 East breakdowns and scored on all of them to go up 3-0 while East got 2 late goals and really completely controlled the play aside from the breakdowns that led to STA goals.
-
FINAL #2 Edina 6 Bemidji 4. Bemidji scored 2 goals in the last couple minutes to cut it to a 1 goal game but Edina got an empty netter with 2 seconds left to seal the win. Good showing from the Lumberjacks after they got settled down and really started playing their style but by that time it was already 3-0 and it was just too much to come back from against a good Edina team. #3 St. Thomas Academy and Duluth East are up next.

Edina 5 Bemidji 2 after 2 much better period from Bemidji
-
Not sure on actual radio but probably would be available online http://msbnsports.net/ and I believe there is a webcast through http://prep45.com/ but I don't think it is free like it use to be.
-
Bemidji gets 2 goals in the first 45 secs of the 2nd period but Edina answers with a goal for a 4-2 lead with 13:00 left in the 2nd.
-
Edina 3 Bemidji 0 after 1. Took about half the period for Bemidji to really start playing and Edina is very fast and very skilled. With most of these guys back next year and a good chance to repeat as 8AA Champs Bemidji should play a tougher schedule next season and I think they probably will.
-
In the nightcap yesterday #5 St. Cloud Apollo beat #4 Breck 1-0 in OT. Should be some real good games today in AA and I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple upsets. The AA games get started at 11 with #2 Edina taking on Bemidji.

	Friday 11a.m.

Their coach was asked about a possible move to AA in the post game press conference and he said something like some years we would compete and some years we wouldn't so we will just stay where we are.
-
#1 Hermantown looking as good as advertised in a dominant 8-0 win over Spring Lake Park final shots were 50-10.
-
Just in the last couple years, I believe the whites they wear now were new at the start of last season and the green/black away jerseys are new this year.
-
I didn't see all of the game but from what I saw I wasn't real impressed and expected a little more from Mahtomedi. I think Mahtomedi may be a little bit of an up and down team just by looking at their schedule and I'm guessing this wasn't one of their better games.
-
	EGF 0 New Prague 0 after 1 Shots: EGF 13 NP 4
-
#2 Mahtomedi 6 New Ulm 3 in game 1 a little closer than I figured it would be and a competitive game. #3 EGF and New Prague scoreless almost halfway through the 1st. EGF's top line will have a couple goals before this one is over Loven-Bowen-Tweten are really creating some solid chances when they are on the ice, Bowen just got stopped on a breakaway.

	With Simonson reportedly being out I think I'd go with Poolman-Caggiula-Parks Chyzk-Schmaltz-Johnson Olson-Pattyn-St.Clair OD-Gaarder-Poganski
-
As a Gopher basketball fan I just really can't see that happening especially in the next couple years. I wouldn't be surprised if UND played the Gophers again in The Barn but I just don't really see them travelling to play at UND no matter what facility the game would be in.
-
The difference is the Duluth and Parkside games for Minnesota and Wisconsin are exhibitions. The Gophers have played a D2 team each of the last 2 seasons though in games that counted as they ended up facing Chaminade in the Maui Invite last year and Franklin Pierce was a Preseason NIT opponent this year. That is a different level and NDSU is probably a more comparable OOC schedule and they do play a couple D2/NAIA type teams each year and UND will probably continue to as well.
-
I posted the top uncommitted players for each matchup on the last page. Obviously some matchups and teams have more prospects and higher end prospects than others but I tried to at least put a few prospects for each matchup.
-
The style of play critique is very old and not real valid anymore it isn't like Lemaire is still the coach and they sit back in a trap the whole game only sending 1 guy on the forecheck.
-
If MacMillan ends up being out I would be shocked if it wasn't either Simonson or Olson who get into the lineup.
-
I think if Mac can't go Simonson will get the opportunity on Friday night. With Simonson being able to play center you could just put him in Mac's spot and not have to change anything else and I wouldn't be surprised if that is what Hak does. If Mac is out and Simonson gets the call I would like to see Poolman-Caggiula-Parks, Chyzk-Schmaltz-Johnson, Pattyn-Simonson-St.Clair, OD-Gaarder-Poganski as the lines for Friday night.
-
That was the injury I feared when it happened and then when I saw him come back out for the Senior night festivities really hope it isn't true but wouldn't be surprised. Would make me sick to see such a good guy like Mac not be able to finish his Fighting Sioux career on the ice.

Roy sends McLeod out with 15 seconds left to take a run at Granlund right as the puck as dropped good to see Coyle step up and fight him then Landeskog punches Koivu by leaning over the barrier between benches. Hopefully some fines and suspensions coming for Roy and his dirty team.
-
Brad E. Schlossman @SchlossmanGF 5m5 minutes ago Grand Forks, ND Hakstol says he has an idea of the extent of MacMillan's injury but doesn't feel comfortable discussing it until he knows for sure.
