  1. Who said that? I mean besides you just making things up? I specifically told you to contact someone who could actually make a difference to voice your concerns and you responded in the 100% completely predictable way and downvoted it. Apparently you care so much that you won't actually do anything about it beyond complaining on the internet. But, I guess that makes you feel good, so you do you. The rest of us will actually spend our time having real conversations, voicing concerns, trying to understand what is going on and what positive things we can do to help right the issues. But to each their own.
  2. So who were they supposed to hire??
  3. Disagree. If you ask for an audience and time (respectfully of course), you will get it.
  4. I'm dead serious when I say that anyone with concerns should be reaching out directly to the Athletic Director to voice them. People actually voicing their opinion to decision makers can make a difference. Time is made for donors to give their input. Put down the bottle. This is absurd. The thought was that we did that. The hire was lauded by pretty much everyone. It clearly hasn't turned out the way anyone had hoped.
  5. If they people behind this can make it pencil out, it might move forward. If they can't make money, it won't happen. Would be similar to the "extra" postseason MBB/WBB tournaments. How much are schools willing to chip in for some extra practice and games?
  6. This wasn't even by anyone on the team or even students at UND at the time. It was from 4 "would-be" students. Wow.

    Polls

Wow. Didn't know that was going to be so controversial. Weird hill to die on but you do you.

    Polls

Who's arguing any of that outside of your last comments? The point is, we've seen how hard it is to crack the polls if you don't start in them. Like it or not, that kind of thing is taken into account later in the year.
  9. From what I can tell, he's giving plenty of guys the chance for that role and they still can't find the right combo to take it and run. Just when you think its close, you see why he needs to try another combo. No doubt that it is incredibly frustrating but this isn't how he handled line-ups in the past.

    Polls

Important to start in the polls for next season. Drake and NAU to start before a bye week. Then a bit of a tough stretch with Boise State, SDSU, WIU, NDSU and UNI. 4-3 minimum heading into the home stretch. 5-2 or better would be very nice.
  11. I think we can put to bed who has the worst in-game management for a while. Absolutely inexcusable.
  12. It's fine, the Forum made sure was a nice article about the new president enjoying his trip to Frisco. Though I'm not sure how Caillou makes this comment accurately. Pretty sure they didn't cancel the D2 and D3 championships.
  13. Did I do that right? Or too much substance?
  14. UND will be recognized by the Special Olympics and ESPN at tonight's hockey game. Fairly big deal and very good publicity for UND. The other 4 schools being recognized are high schools making UND the only college/university to be recognized. https://www.generationunified.org/videos/congrats-to-the-2022-espn-top-5/ https://blogs.und.edu/und-today/2022/10/special-olympics-college-club-receives-national-recognition/
  15. Yes, we went over that. He took them to the Summit Championship game. And then 2 of them graduated. The next season it was only DAE and Rebraca, one of who spent half of his time looking for a new team. And the 3rd season, he had none of those players. Point being, cupboard was bare. Can you imagine what this team would actually look like if Rebraca, Ihenacho and Bruns were still on it? Man, that would be fun....
  16. So you're saying the cupboard was bare?
  17. I'm confused what the point of this is? Did he not have "Jones players" in Year 2? Year 3?
  18. At least you should be happy, you get a chance to be negative and complain.
  19. His best player actually went to summer school just so he could graduate and transfer out.
  20. Here's the FCS only one. https://masseyratings.com/5538/cf?sub=11605
  21. So the new coach did better with the old coach's players in a new system than the old coach did? And then the new coach struggled because there wasn't a whole lot of talent left on the roster and not much coming in? The roster had plenty of turnover during the prior regime despite there not even being a transfer portal option. Beyond that, I'm not going to sit and go back and forth over old issues and other things that have been around for a lot longer than 3-4 years. It serves no real purpose other than speaking negatively about things and people in the past. Like I said, we get your opinion. Some agree with you. Others think it is a lot more nuanced than "fire coach now".
  22. As a program, despite the record, I would say it is in a better place. A handful of reasons for that answer but I want to make it clear that I don't think the program is anywhere near where it should be right now either. And I don't think you'll find anyone within the athletic department or the MBB program that would think it is either.
  23. The previous coach was bought out of the final year of his contract. He didn't exactly leave a full cupboard on his way out.
  24. The program was having pretty severe issues before Paul Sather ever submitted an application. Is Ndoukou expected to be here next year now? For some reason I thought there was talk of him joining the team in the 2nd half of this year but assuming I'm incorrect on that.
  25. Apparently he can't even stay satisfied with an FBS coordinator job for more than 3 weeks....
