He's listed in the participation report and it appears he had at least one target (2nd quarter). Don't recall seeing much of him either though.

Kind of sounds like UND should be ranked right around UNI then? PS - Weber St still hasn't won a game. Guess the Big Sky bottom feeders aren't too bad either?

Since they can't serve beer, you can count on that one being gone. Guessing they'll make all of both areas SRO.
-
It will make a difference on who else is in the bracket though. Would be nice to be a #1 seed and hypothetically have a little easier road in a lose and you're done scenario.

For better or worse?

Contract to put the games (multiple sports) back on FCS. Heard something about FSN as well but I think someone was getting the two mixed up. On a basketball note, stopped by the Meet the Team thing today for a bit. Looks like we have a lot of length but not a lot of bulk. The young guys have some room to put some muscle on their frames.

Considering it was supposed to be signed two weeks ago and the majority of the details were already in place, not a real stretch. Not sure what the most recent hold up was.

Looks like UND lost the first two sets 25-20. Live stats here: http://www.sidearmstats.com/unco/wvball/

From my understanding, Phase I is fully pledged, they wouldn't have been able to go forward if it wasn't. I don't know the amount left to raise on Phase II. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think the original plan was to do it all at once but they decided to split so they could get the IPF built quicker. Phase II may end up costing a little more because of the delay, but probably worth it in the long run so people can see progress and the IPF portion will be completed much sooner.

Just pointing out Idaho was nowhere near the worst team in FBS that year as you claimed, in fact they were quite a bit ahead of Kansas which I have seen pumped up well beyond their actual rankings. Nothing more, nothing less.

Viewing options for Sioux hockey games this season

Pretty intrigued by the Matricom G-Box MX2 that was previously posted, mainly because of the Google Play capabilities (how well the Big Sky app) works along with being able to do what a lot of the Google OS boxes do for about $60 or so less. I had the FireTV for about a month and while it worked fairly decently, for what I was using it for it didn't seem to outperform by Chromecast for 3x the price. I know there are a lot of other capabilities that make it better than the Chromecast but nothing that I personally need at the current time. -
Just for reference, in 2010 when UND (who was terrible that year) got streamrolled by Idaho, the 2010 final Sagarin Ranking: Idaho: 89 Kansas: 119 UND lost to Idaho again in 2011 but was ahead at the half until forgetting to show up for the second half and were still down only 10 heading into the 4th.

My understanding is the difference is casting a tab vs. Netflix/Youtube where in the former, the computer still has to encode and play the video on top of sending it back out to stream it so if your computer can't handle/process doing the two things, both of which are intensive, that is what causes the lagging. Correct on it not being the graphics though. When streaming Netflix via the app, the Chromecast is actually getting the signal straight from the router/modem and the computer/device is only being used as a "remote" more or less. In my situation, especially since I'm using wireless, I'm getting hit on both ends. Regardless, I'm going to have to look into something else so I can watch the other internet streams without hooking up my laptop. Just a matter of how much I want to spend and how much effort I want to put into something (HTPC). -
I agree with you and which is why I said that he wasn't a good head coach despite being a successful OC here. Looking at the turnaround the defense has made this year and who's been contributing shows that the players were here, it wasn't the recruiting (on that side of the ball, the OL situation in inexcusable). More commenting to the overall point that some people can't move on and feel the need to continue to beat a dead horse even when it isn't relevant.

I have a Chromecast and really like it for the apps it has but I can't cast/stream live events from my laptop to my TV, they get incredibly choppy. I have no issues watching directly on the laptop or running it to the TV through an HDMI cable so guessing either my processor/graphics card can't handle streaming and casting it or my internet speed isn't fast enough, probably the former. A simple box like that would probably solve my problems and delay me buying a new desktop and cords to permanently connect the HDMI or start building a HTPC. -
Considering the defense is pretty much all Mussman recruits outside of Hinojosa and Tillman (and a few true freshman sprinkled in), not sure what your point on the last part is other than continuing to have to bring up Mussman? He was a very good OC in his time year, not so much as a head coach but probably time to move on.

So the secret is to e-mail and ask what your priority points number is?

Interesting. Wonder if it would have the capabilities to run the American One streams for the Big Sky feeds. The issue with Ruko, Amazon Fire, etc that I've seen is they are only app enabled, don't have the browser capabilities to do that. -
Just curious what your prediction would have been before the season started this year? Going to go out on a limb a guess UND has already equaled or surpassed it.
-
FU faithful logic: UND beats PSU (now 2-4) by 8 points in a very close game = PSU is a bad team NDSU beats WSU (currently 0-6) by 17 a close game = WSU has a pretty good squad this year I don't recall anyone saying Portland State was world beaters or trying to talk them up after the game. This is a game UND doesn't win last year. Large improvements, especially on the defensive side of the ball, continue to show. Health is the main thing standing in this team's way, particularly due to the lack of depth the staff has to work with.
-
He has openly admitted he's an NDSU fan.

I don't think its likely but you never know how conference play will shape up. Furman ended the season in a 3-way tie for first in the Southern Conference with a 7-5 overall record (and won the tie-breaker for the autobid) and won a game in the playoffs. New Hampshire made it in with a 7-4 record over multiple teams with 8 or more wins and made it all the way to the semi-finals. And the MVFC fanboys must disagree with you. They were adamant that there should have been more teams in from the conference in but UNI and SIU were both 7-5. I guess there was Youngstown at 8-4 but they finished the year like a train wreck.
-
Yeah, you are correct. I looked a little deeper, his 40 time is listed at 4.81. Only watched a highlight or two and with his size (5'8", 150lbs) I just assumed he was a little quicker.

I believe they'll announce when tickets are gone. Not sure what is taking so long but guessing that they are making multiple attempts to contact people and not having payment information on hand also slows things down.
