Reading the game thread the next day never fails to entertain. Good effort last night, felt like UND had it in hand from the puck drop.

Hope a decent crowd shows up despite the cold weather. Results have been far from ideal but the games have been entertaining. Need to pull this one out tomorrow.

Coach Stevens was very entertaining at the luncheon today. Sounds like they played 6 freshman in the starting line-up for the majority of their 4 game tournament last weekend.

That was already completed. The original committee figured out what stakeholders should have what say and how the process should go (this process is complete and committee is done). The second committee will pick a nickname to pass on to Kelley.

Points off turnovers is the glaring stat. UND scored 4 points off of 12 turnovers. Montana scored 25 points off of 14 turnovers.

Yep. The young talent on this team has shown a lot of flashes (those two plus Shanks and Hooker). Just need to continue to develop and put on a little bulk. All 3 of the bigs have room to put on some weight. I can see Cashman turning into a bruiser, he's definitely not afraid of contact. They all need to work on consistency though. Would be fun to see 6'8", 6'9" and 7'0" playing across the frontcourt for stretches over the next 3 years.

Montgomery will be speaking at the luncheon today. Noon, at the Alerus Center. $10 for buffet lunch. More than worth it if you haven't been before.

Ugh. Hooker travels as he turns his ankle and then Tyler misses a bunny. Draw something up, no clue how Hooker's ankle is otherwise he'd take the shot.

Q continues to amaze with his passing and vision. Really excited about a Shanks/Shields/Cashman rotation the next few years. Shields really seems to attack rebounds, just needs to put on some pounds. Need to put together a little run here and tie it up. Refs seeing some interesting things no one else seems to be able to see.

Might have helped since they were working on getting the inside temp up to do some interior work. Construction continues to be behind. For sure not usable this spring and probably not this summer, though shouldn't be needed. Heard some good things about the track that is being put in. Only one other one with similar specs/surface/etc in the world (I believe in Brazil).

Just a limit on number of new players per year and number of kids at the fall ball before school starts. I believe some of the transfers don't count toward next years number due to enrolling this semester.

Any reason you couldn't do a sub-forum under the tickets. Something like: Siouxsports / UND Community / Tickets wanted / Other Items for Sale or would you have to do a completely separate forum for Items for Sale, moving out of UND Community, and then separate out tickets and other item Siouxsports / Items for Sale / Tickets wanted Siouxsports / Items for Sale / Other items for sale Thought being having the tickets separate is probably easier/cleaner. I have no clue how much work any of this would be. I think you do a great job running the site, just throwing some ideas out there.

I can agree with this as well but I also have a hard time accepting it if it was something that is holding up a department wide deal. Would the contract require head to toe gear or would the players have the option of different footwear even at their own expense?
