  1. I think you're underestimating the student vote on North Stars.

    2015 season

I guess they were one for two on NDSU players who were busted for theft in 2015. The first one didn't make the news at all but the most recent one did.

    2015 season

That one wasn't him. Same first and last name but different middle name and 3 years older . His only prior legal run-ins were 2 speeding tickets.
  4. In June, Hunter showed up the ump and then proceeds to take his jersey off and throw it and it got called "leadership" and showing fire. That is a helluva lot worse than what Perkins did. And you can't be serious on trading him. Why would you get rid of the best/most consistent relief pitcher on the staff who's also happens to be under an incredibly reasonable contract for the next 3 years? Interesting note by Mike Berardino of the Pioneer Press: Perkins has a 6.75 ERA in 7 outings w/ Dan Bellino behind the plate. That's his 2nd-highest for any of 34 plate umps to work 5 + outings.
  5. UNI had zero reason to leave the MVC.
  6. Brilliant reasoning if I've ever heard it...

  8. Obviously somewhat (see: UND's non-invite as an affiliate for Summit baseball despite it being an easy way to save their autobid). However, if UND pushed for full membership, I don't see them being turned down. The flipside being if UND were to leave the Big Sky, I see a much smaller chance of them being pulled back into the fold depending on how things shake out.
  9. The Summit always has been and likely will always be there if UND wanted to go that direction (with the MVFC and a home for football being the issue). The rub is that it doesn't benefit UND to make any sort of move right now on the precipice of what is likely going to be a major shake-up in conference alignments and levels of competition. Fullerton may have ideas beyond what is achievable but at least he has them and is very public about it. Not sure I'd say the same for Douple. I know which one I'd rather be aligned with (and leaving bridge unburned) while leaving the other as a second option.
  10. Funny thing is, most of them won't have a vote
  11. Weekly 2-deep changes: Offense WRX wording changes to Cerriteno or Walker instead of #1/2. Defense Labat moves to #1 at SOLB, switching spots with Idowu Tyus Carter moves to starter at RCB, replacing Chris Brown Irvin-Sills moves from #2 at RCB to #2 at LCB (replacing T. Carter) Chris Carter moves up to #2 at RCB Jawon Johnson becomes the starter at SS, moving up from the #2 spot with Dillon Olson backing him up Cole Reyes moves over to the #1 at FS, moving from #1 at SS replacing the injured Arnell Special Teams Alex Reed replaces Seibel as #1 KR, Santiago remains at the #2
  12. 100% correct, should have added that was the main factor and it wasn't even close.
  13. Due to the invitation from the Big Sky, UND cancelled the Summit's site visit which has without fail led to an invite 100% of the time. The MVFC made it clear they didn't have any interest at the time.
  14. It makes scheduling easier for all other sports. If you haven't noticed, not the easiest to get teams up to Grand Forks. A few extra conference games goes a long way in improving the home schedule.
  15. Based on what? Last I checked, both have been 1-bid leagues which what matters in the end.
  16. So you complain about people answering questions with questions and then proceed to do the same? Kind of a double standard, no? For the record, NDSU Foundation took on the shortage and still owes $750K+ on the president's house. There is no outstanding loans on UND's president's house. Coming here and claiming UND isn't paying contractors/vendors and then providing absolutely zero information is a complete garbage. If it truly was an issue with no extenuating circumstances, it would be very well known. There are a lot of companies that are hesitant to do government work because of the slow pay, if they knew they weren't getting paid then it would not be a secret, not to mention all information is public to begin with. No clue what you're trying to claim by saying UND is delaying projects because of funding? There are some pretty huge projects going on at UND's campus right now. Are you talking about Phase II of the HPC? Of course that has been delayed, the funds haven't been raised. Same reason the SHAC remodel started a decade after it was supposed to. By the way, what's the current amount left to raise on that project? The only reason it was started is because the NDSU Foundation guaranteed any shortfall in fundraising (same they did on the Fargodome locker room and coach's office renovations that a decade after they were completed is still $1.5 million short of being paid for).
  17. So he supposedly hasn't got paid but continues to do work for UND? Your story just doesn't add up. Guessing there is a hell of a lot you are leaving out or weren't told about. I know many companies that have done and continue to do work for UND and have yet to hear anything like that without some extenuating circumstance. If it was happening for no reason it would become public very quickly.
  18. I think the point that makes most UND's fans upset is that one of the made-up excuses why FargoU shouldn't have played the game is because UND would get chippy, make a dirty hit and someone would get hurt. Well lo and behold, it was one of their own making a incredibly irresponsible and illegal hit and knocked out one of UND's starters for at least the year if not longer. The fan base that is still complaining about a legal block on Leevon Perry a couple years ago and claiming that a UND player made "dirty" hit on Montana's QB (that none of them even saw) is now defending something that would have probably been a prelude to WWIII if the roles were reversed.

    GDT: Drake

Don't disagree. Bad field position didn't help, FargoU's kicker had backspin I've never seen on kickoffs, but no clue what was being called. UND didn't have the receivers to do what Montana did but kept trying. Very disappointed with today's play calling.
  20. What is the ratio of opportunities for women at NDSU at compared to what their student body percentage is at? How does that ratio compare with other D-1 institutions?
  21. Has to be the most ridiculous joke of a setup to get into tailgating I've seen...
  22. Not sure he will get to 100 but my dark horse is Studsrud getting close.
  23. Sagarin himself admits his model is not yet well connected and therfore not accurate. It's still feeding last year's data to compensate.
  24. If you're going to say "fact is" you should probably actually have something to back it up with, which it is painfully obvious you don't because you are continuously missing the mark despite your obsession with UND. The only thing I'm sure of is that I have a much better grasp of what goes on within UND's athletic department than you do.
  25. UND's weekly 2 deep changes: None Of note, Dustin Iverson is scheduled to be back but UND does not list FB's on its 2-deep, instead opting to list 3 WR's.
