100% correct, should have added that was the main factor and it wasn't even close.

Due to the invitation from the Big Sky, UND cancelled the Summit's site visit which has without fail led to an invite 100% of the time. The MVFC made it clear they didn't have any interest at the time.

Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton Conversation

It makes scheduling easier for all other sports. If you haven't noticed, not the easiest to get teams up to Grand Forks. A few extra conference games goes a long way in improving the home schedule. -

Based on what? Last I checked, both have been 1-bid leagues which what matters in the end. -
So you complain about people answering questions with questions and then proceed to do the same? Kind of a double standard, no? For the record, NDSU Foundation took on the shortage and still owes $750K+ on the president's house. There is no outstanding loans on UND's president's house. Coming here and claiming UND isn't paying contractors/vendors and then providing absolutely zero information is a complete garbage. If it truly was an issue with no extenuating circumstances, it would be very well known. There are a lot of companies that are hesitant to do government work because of the slow pay, if they knew they weren't getting paid then it would not be a secret, not to mention all information is public to begin with. No clue what you're trying to claim by saying UND is delaying projects because of funding? There are some pretty huge projects going on at UND's campus right now. Are you talking about Phase II of the HPC? Of course that has been delayed, the funds haven't been raised. Same reason the SHAC remodel started a decade after it was supposed to. By the way, what's the current amount left to raise on that project? The only reason it was started is because the NDSU Foundation guaranteed any shortfall in fundraising (same they did on the Fargodome locker room and coach's office renovations that a decade after they were completed is still $1.5 million short of being paid for).

So he supposedly hasn't got paid but continues to do work for UND? Your story just doesn't add up. Guessing there is a hell of a lot you are leaving out or weren't told about. I know many companies that have done and continue to do work for UND and have yet to hear anything like that without some extenuating circumstance. If it was happening for no reason it would become public very quickly.

I think the point that makes most UND's fans upset is that one of the made-up excuses why FargoU shouldn't have played the game is because UND would get chippy, make a dirty hit and someone would get hurt. Well lo and behold, it was one of their own making a incredibly irresponsible and illegal hit and knocked out one of UND's starters for at least the year if not longer. The fan base that is still complaining about a legal block on Leevon Perry a couple years ago and claiming that a UND player made "dirty" hit on Montana's QB (that none of them even saw) is now defending something that would have probably been a prelude to WWIII if the roles were reversed.
-
Don't disagree. Bad field position didn't help, FargoU's kicker had backspin I've never seen on kickoffs, but no clue what was being called. UND didn't have the receivers to do what Montana did but kept trying. Very disappointed with today's play calling.

What is the ratio of opportunities for women at NDSU at compared to what their student body percentage is at? How does that ratio compare with other D-1 institutions?
-
Has to be the most ridiculous joke of a setup to get into tailgating I've seen...
-
Not sure he will get to 100 but my dark horse is Studsrud getting close.
-
Sagarin himself admits his model is not yet well connected and therfore not accurate. It's still feeding last year's data to compensate.
-
If you're going to say "fact is" you should probably actually have something to back it up with, which it is painfully obvious you don't because you are continuously missing the mark despite your obsession with UND. The only thing I'm sure of is that I have a much better grasp of what goes on within UND's athletic department than you do.
-
UND's weekly 2 deep changes: None Of note, Dustin Iverson is scheduled to be back but UND does not list FB's on its 2-deep, instead opting to list 3 WR's.
-
While I don't disagree that a playoff appearance would have been nice, UND has only been eligible for the playoffs for 3 years. Of the Dakota schools, the XDSU's each made it once in their first 3 years of being eligible and USD is tied with UND with no appearances. USD had a two year headstart on their reboot and oddly enough the final nail in the coffin was likely UND's comeback in the final game of the 2011 season, which probably saved Muss's job (or earned him at least 1 extra year) and cost Meierkort his job.
-
I have no clue what Haakenson was trying to do or go about it and from reading the article, I'm not sure if he did either. That is probably where the issue lies but I'm not sure, nor do I think it really matters.
-
Other than the bolded, I can assure you that everything you wrote is completely baseless and inaccurate. Faison stated months ago that they were paying attention to the landscape and monitoring what peers were doing, which is why hockey was announced at the time. It had nothing to do with it being specifically NDSU, but I'm sure whatever complex that continues to exists at FargoU won't allow you to accept that. Plans were in place and are fluid, which is no different than what is going on in Fargo right now (here's a hint: 50% of FCOA covered for 3 years is not a sustainable plan).
-
My mistake. Don't even recall that one so clearly wasn't real bad.
-
He tried but was denied for Sundogs as well. Not sure what people are concerned about this for, it will have literally no impact on what UND does. The guy is going through a lot of paperwork for no reason. He's not even coming close to accomplishing what he thinks he is.
-
Who claimed Deluca's hit was dirty? All I said is that UND's hit on the UM QB last year was no worse than that, you added the rest. The Reyes play happened right in front of me, it looked like a borderline penalty and I'm not sure he gets anything if it isn't the QB but I didn't have a problem with the call. However penalty =/= dirty.
-
Didn't see it mentioned: Studsrud was named Big Sky's offensive player of the week with 260 yards passing and 3 TD's. 213 of those yards and all 3 TD's came in the first half. Zero attempted rushes the whole game. Don't necessarily agree with it, especially with how it almost turned out, but you think that the playbook might have been left in the locker room at halftime? Doesn't excuse the fumbles or mean UND shouldn't have still been able to move the ball, but seems pretty telling.
-
If UND's linebackers have the time to decide to go low on Wentz instead of tackling him however they can, then I think you're probably going to have bigger issues to worry about.
-
You clearly didn't see the play you're trying to use as an example. The LB chased Johnson out of the pocket and pushed him after he threw the ball.
-
That's complete garbage. It was no worse than NDSU's linebacker launching himself headfirst at Montana's QB after he had startd sliding, putting his helmet/should pad into Montana's QB's helmet.
