  1. I think that that's one of the advantages of recruiting North Dakota kids. There may have been one, but I can't think of any North Dakota kid that has ever transferred out of our program. They tend to stick.
  2. Thanks for the great job you've done! Your shoes will be hard to fill. Thanks for sticking with it for 12 years!
  3. Looks like a recruiting class that has the potential to turn the program around overnight. Exceptional job of recruiting. It would be nice to start challenging the South Dakota schools.
  4. I liked our compete level tonight. If they can maintain that as our young players mature and the team gels, we may not finish in the top 4, but I think we'll compete in conference play. What that turns out to be will depend on how fast our young players mature and how fast coach can get them coached up. We show good flashes, it's just that those flashes need to last for 40 minutes.
  5. Agree. They needed this blowout win, even if it was against a D2. They've doubled their win total from last season, admittedly a modest accomplishment. Are they going to get Gordon back? If not, what happened?
  6. Women reach the 0.500 mark(4-4) by beating Minn. Morris 97-55.
  7. Thank you for the pregame writeups; you do an excellent job! And also for the in-game updates.
  8. Needs to add some beef, as he's listed at 257.
  9. Well, not altogether. The Bison lost to Arizona 97-45 on Tues.
  10. Yes.
  11. And still missing two starters.
  12. Ladies with their first win of the season: 89-85. They shot 48.9% from the field, 42.1% from 3, and 89.7% (35-39) from the line.
  13. Ha!
  14. Right, including Minnesota's less than overwhelming 13 pt. win over D-2 Concordia-St.Paul.
  15. Thanks for the updates, SWSioux.
  16. Yep, got a couple or more here in Kansas City, too.
  17. Looking forward to being there Saturday. Anyone else able to go?
  18. Yes, we have an embarrassment of riches at running back when they're all healthy. It seems like Skokna has had some nice gains to the outside, also. Again, as you say, maybe he has more speed than Otis?
  19. It seems like we have good success, maybe better success running the ball to the outside. For instance, Ziebarth was getting 5-15 yards to the outside on virtually every carry on Saturday. I'm wondering why we don't do it more often. Just depends on how the D is lined up?
  20. Caleb Olson - Hudl Unfortunately, the camera is too far away to see anything.
  21. Fooled ya!
  22. You know what they say about Connecticut, don't you? It's not a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there either.
  23. No excuses, but the injuries are starting to pile up and they haven't helped: top receiver out the last two games, top running back (arguable) out the last game, starting nose guard out most of the last two games, field goal kicker out the last two games, sr. starting outside linebacker out since the first game, and backup outside linebacker out the last two games. Next man up, I know, I know, but we've been down quite a few key players the last couple games or more during the meat of our schedule. If we can win the next two, it'll give us some momentum and I think that we can make a run.
  24. Got it. Thanks.
