    QB recruiting I think is close behind, which makes me look forward to our future passing attack. As a matter of fact, I think that our overall recruiting has taken a big step forward. We shall see.

    I know. She's kept them in most games this season, as they've lost 7 one-goal games. If they weren't so young and had some scoring, it may have been a different season.

    That needs to happen. Otherwise, you've got a small school (Devils Lake) going up against, in effect, three large schools (Century, Legacy, and High; plus St. Mary's?), Even at that, Devils Lake (1-14) played Bismarck(13-2) to a one goal game last night. It would be nice to see a level playing field.

    Yes, hopefully it translates into more than just state tournament appearances.

    Actually, I just checked and they're 16-0.

    Devils Lake's Bantam A and Bantam B teams are currently 14-0 and 8-3, respectively, with both teams in first place. Hopefully, that will translate to the high school level, as their high school team has been down for 3 or 4 years.

    That's ok. It's who is all conference after the season that counts!

    I agree. I think that he's still adjusting to the D1 game, but we've seen flashes of how good he can become.

    I saw that we had a 14 point lead just before halftime, and we let Denver go on a 6-0 run going into halftime. Yesterday, it was an 8-0 run going into halftime to cut our 13 point lead to 5. I wish that, just once, we could build on a lead like that, instead of frittering it away, and put a team away. Good grief.
