  1. Where we would have finished without him also figures in the equation, I would think.
  2. Calli Forsburg of Devils Lake left after her freshman year (?) after being one of the leading scorers in the state.
  3. If you have an online subscription to the Herald, it will get you in to the InForum livestreaming of the hockey tourney.
  4. Don't know how much they're going to have left for Davies today after going 4OT yesterday, especially since they only skate two lines. They took Davies to a shootout a couple of weeks ago when they were playing fresh.
  5. I think that Sather has done an excellent job regardless of how we do this week. He's squeezed about everything that he could have out of what he inherited. As has been mentioned, the availability of Moody would have probably meant at least a couple of more wins and the development of Stewart and Walter under Sather and his staff has been impressive. Going forward, to state the obvious, it will all depend on whether he can land the recruits that it will take to build a perennial contender. It'll take some time to develop the recruiting relationships, but I think that he'll get it done.
  6. Marlon is a totally different player this year. Hats off to Coach Sather and the other coaches for the development of Marlon that has taken place this season. Last season I felt that he sometimes tried to do too much, at times played out of control, and there sometimes was an attitude. This year he has become a heady, unselfish, under control point guard that knows when to get his teammates involved and when he needs to do "his thing." And "his thing" has become pretty impressive. I really enjoy watching him play and he's going to be sorely missed next season.
  7. You're right, except that he wanted to hang around and help finish off the Bizuns first.
  8. Does anyone know if any of the EDC tourney games will be livestreamed?
  9. With Moody out for the entire conference season thus far and Rebracca out tonight, I think being 5-5 at this point in the conference season is all that could have been expected and gives them an outside shot at a top 4 or 5 finish.
  10. Hope he follows his older brother to UND. Good hands, good speed, and good route runner.
  11. Ok. Thanks. Don't get that so will have to follow the thread and/or live stats.
  12. Both Walter and Brown have exceeded my expectations for them since seeing them in person as freshmen. Not everyone is going to be an all-conference caliber player, but these two have developed into solid contributors. Walter had a career high with 25 last night, plus didn't miss a free throw, including several key FT's down the stretch. Brown contributed a couple of key buckets and made a couple of pressure FT's down the stretch. They're both excellent FT shooters.
  13. Ha! I enjoy your humor every now and again.
  14. Good post. And congratulations and good luck to Coach H.
