Personally, after watching him play, I think Stafford was/is underrated.

Was Stafford invited to the US camp? I know Potulny and Irmen were. I wouldn't be suprised to see Potulny and Stafford still make "the list".

It's interesting how all the gopher fans are dealing with the losses this year so far. They seem to rationalize by saying, oh nothing matters until april anyway...which, in a sense is true, but theres got to be a point where losing during the regular season actually matters. A few are getting worked up, but I wonder if their fans are getting as overconfident as their players seem to be thus far. It's almost as if the gophers expect the national championship to just be handed to them on a silver platter come april. Or maybe their just right....?

So no real concentration of Sioux fans at the DECC? Just a scattered effort?

I was thinking about heading to that also, I have some friends down at UofM. I think tickets will be difficult to find though. I might just settle for duluth in Feb.

Me and a buddy from minneapolis are actually talking about making the trip to duluth for those games (I live in montana right now, so it takes alot of planning) when can we get tickets for that series in duluth, and how much should we expect to pay?

I don't care if Aerosmith is coming, it would have to be John fu*king Lennon risen from the dead to play a show at the Alerus for me to sacrifice this series for a concert.

Ouch... that's about the biggest blow the gophers could take right now with their young defense and not-so-spiffy goaltending.

This may be a little off topic, but is the Lee Davidson that is an Asst. Coach at UMD the same Lee Davidson from Winnipeg that played for the Sioux in the late 80's/early 90's?
