  1. The weird thing is, I think Parise is playing better than he was last year, he's just not scoring as many points. He looks like a machine out there.
  2. damn gopher propoganda
  3. This whole f'ing thread is retarded. I can't believe I just read it all
  4. Because there's no two-line pass rule in college. Makes for a more wide-open game. More fun to watch.
  5. lol I thought that was a pretty big understatement also.
  6. I would but I can't get the feed where I live. If you know of a way I can listen over the internet, I'd be happy to.
  7. I read that two of the NHL players are yet to be released by their GMs, so that Stafford would be the next pick if one of them could not go.
  8. I don't know if everyone saw this, but the final roster is out here: http://www.uscho.com/news/2003/12/08_007461.php
  9. I can't wait for that tournament.
  10. Especially since this is a very solid group of Defensemen. In fact, this team all around should be outstanding. Murray/Praise/Eaves together would be impressive. And it would be fun to see Fritsche play with Parise.
  11. Greg Johnson - 272 points Mark Taylor - 265 points Jeff Panzer - 228 points Dixon Ward - 219 points Lee Davidson - 202 points Bochenski had 32 as a freshman, and 62 as a soph. That puts him at 94 for his first two years. If he has a 65-70 point season this year and 70-75 point season the year after that, that puts him in the area of 230-240 points. He will be a ways off of Johnson and Taylor, but Panzer might be in reach.
  12. Here's hoping Brady lights up team canada and shows them they should have picked him
  13. Good article. I'm glad to see Colby playing well now. He worked hard and it shows, and the players like him who keep improving are going to make this team what it is, and bring it alot of success.
  14. Nick Schneider is not related, unless he is a cousin or distant relative or something, but Ben Noah may be a relative of John Noah, I thought I heard something about his relatvies playing in the area.
  15. Well, I'm happy for Brady in his decision. I think he will enjoy his experience and it always makes us proud to see Sioux players wearing the Red, White and Blue. Congrats to Brady.
  16. I saw them play the Bozeman Ice Dogs this year. I was pretty drunk so I didn't really pay too much attention to the game, but for 17 year old kids they are pretty skilled. Their goaltender (the name slips my mind) is pretty solid, and they have some speedy forwards who move the puck well. Basically, they will be crushed by UND, but it is a nice opportunity for the kids in the USA hockey program to see Englestad and what it has to offer if they decide to play college hockey. I saw Hagemo get into a fight, and Scero was pretty quick with the puck, but I didn't really do too much analyzing of the team since it was more of a social event at the time. They did beat the Ice Dogs 6-1, but the Ice dogs are big and slow, and should have been playing a neutral zone trap to slow the speedy kids down - the U18's had a lot of odd man rushes which was the main reason Bozeman lost the game. I expect a blowout in epic proportions, but there a few players on this team that I would like to see wearing Green and White, and I'm sure some of you will agree after this weekend.
  17. I remember someone quoted Blais saying that Zajac was like Bochenski.
  18. And he passes Glenn Hall.... here's the article http://nhl.com/onthefly/scoreboard/recaps/302_2_recap.html
  19. I commented last season to "watch Prpich, hes going to be a hell of a player pretty soon". I always thought he showed great skating and strength, and had a good shot on him. He plays great defense and this offensive production is just a bonus. Awesome job to MP.
  20. John Noah was the Sioux's first all-american ever. From Crookston if I'm not mistaken... He was the one who scored the big goal in the Sioux's first game ever... against national champion Michigan. Noah scored the go-ahead goal with about 46 seconds left to put the Sioux up 6-5. That was a big goal in Sioux history. In fact, if he hadn't scored that goal, UND might not be the powerhouse it is today.
  21. John Noah was one of the founders of Sioux Hockey.
