The recruiting results might be changing in the future. UND did have the top area recruit choose UND over NDSU (Molberg). It is a start and I believe UND will be winning more wars in the future. UND got the number 1 guy this year. Just because NDSU is getting the top North Dakota recruits doesn't mean NDSU is winning the wars. There a lot of good players that live outside of North Dakota.

I think the recruits mostly forgot about the sluggish and terrible offensive performance in the 2nd and 3rd quarters when they watched and experienced the 4th quarter. It was one exciting and exhilarating 4th quarter. They see we are nationally ranked in both major polls and were awarded a conference championship will pump up most recruits. The fact that there is no more transition and we are playoff elgible immediately and heading to the Big Sky will make them forget about the bad 2nd and 3rd quarters. The end result is that it was a great game to have recruits at. The national television coverage was great too. Most people just remember what happened at the end of the game. I can't wait for next year.

I aasume you consider UNI a power team out of the MVFC. UNI strugled to beat the last place team out of the Great West yesterday. Just because you say everyone in the MVFC is about the same and balanced doesn't mean the conference is the best one around. Traditionally the Big Sky has been a better conference than the MVFC.

I see Southern Utah is ahead of UNI at halftime. That would be nice if the bottom team in the Greast West would take down Northern Iowa. It shows that even though there only 5 teams in the Great West it is very balanced and very good. Go SUU.

Will Carlson just go away now? Far away.

It would be great with we got LaBatt. That would be the 2nd recruit so far picking UND over NDSU. Hope the coaches can keep it going.

It doesn't matter whether it was an exhibition or not. People only remember that fact you got beat. I am sure NDSU will reminded of that loss many times over the years. That is just the way it works.

It is to bad we can't qualify for the NCAA tournament this year. We would definitely make the tourney. Definitely the best team in the area.

Mayville is the equivalent to Moorhead in men's basketball. I guess every program has a cross to carry. It also reminds us that in any sport on a given night anything can happen.

I think he would be more impressed with UND. We would just have to tell him that most Bison fans spend most of their time talking about UND and writing on the Sioux website. It would appear being connected to UND is where everyone wants to be,at least bison fans.

I listened to Terry Vandervoc's interview. I did have to chuckle when he talked about UND getting back into the good graces of the Summit and how we left. The only reason it came down the way it did was the way the Summit toyed with UND. If they hadn't played games with us, UND would have already been in the Summit. It kind of backfired on them. It never dawned on the Summit that the Big Sky would come after UND. They kind of got what they deserved. The end result is UND got in the league that they never dreamed they would have a chance to get into. It worked out great for UND. Not so good for the Summit.

I guess I was wrong. The Missouri valley is the league with all the directions. (just bring your compass) The Summit is the league with all the initials .( IUPUJ, IWFT, and MAKC or something like that)

That is a major kick in the butt to the Summit league. ORU was the only true signature high profile school in the league. When you look at the remaining teams it just doesn't have much zing. And yes it could very easily start looking like the old NCC. NDSU made the move to separate themselves from the NCC and now that is pretty much what the Summit is becoming. It is the NCC plus some directional schools. The Big Sky looks real good about now.

The Alerus is a tremendous football facility. If there are people at the game it is fantastic. If you don't have many people at the game it is not so great.

Why would you let this guy continue to work for you till the end of the year? Is it just me or doesn't something about this sound really stupid ?

A person would assume there is more to this story. Curious to know what it is.

Bohl might not of used UND in his little tantrum but we all know what one of the major reasons why he was so was miffed. UND being in the poll was starting to steal some of his thunder and he didn't like it.

Lest we forget all 3 of ndsu's victory's this year are over doormats no matter what level they play at. You still don't have a legitimate victory yet .

Now that UND is ranked again this week does Kolpack apologize for all the misinformation he put out last week or does he come out again with the theory that all the coaches got UND and NDSU mixed up again? Is he man enough to come out and admit he was wrong and petty? Some of the things said by NDSU fans and media look a .little silly now.

When you look at how Fresno wiped the floor with Idaho at Idaho, it shows you just how impressive our performance was at Fresno St.

There were 2 or 3 recruits from Minnesota just last year that chose UND over NDSU. How quickly they forget.

I too will remain guarded in my excitement until Mollberg is officially signed. If it is true this would be huge get for UND. Let's all cross our fingers.

If NDSU had played Fresno State that tough on the road they would at minimum stayed the same or moved up in the poll. Eastern Washington stayed at #1 when they lost a close game to Washington. Nobody got the teams mixed up. What an idiot. The fact that UND is in the poll really hit a nerve in Fargo.

It is really not worth the time arguing whether we should be in the pool or not. The fact is we are in the poll and we should at least enjoy trhe fact that we are starting to gain some respect.

I agree with you. It should be in a museum on UND's campus. Good idea.
