There are 10 times as many Bison fans posting on the UND site as ther are UND fans posting at BV. That is just a fact. The totals aren't even close.
-
With all the Division 1 National Champions UND has maybe the NCAA isn't aware there is another University in North Dakota in Fargo. That is way to funny.
-
When UND had an offer to the Big Sky the Summit was of little importance. The Summit didn't offer football. There was no need wasting everyones time. We foremost needed a home for football. As far as Douple is concerned if any more teams bolt from the Summit, Douple will be looking for a new job.

I would imagine the trolls from the South would rather talk about the transition years because when NDSU first came out of transition things didn't go so good. I think now is the time to talk about the playoff elgible years and the future and ignore the trolls. This would totally seem to be the appropriate topic of conversation.
-
Once again people need to be reminded. UND and NDSU are both out of transition and are both in conferences. Both schools have similar situations. when it comes to scheduling non conference games neither school needs the game more than the other. When it comes to making the playoffs a win or loss in the game affects both schools the same. It would seem that NDSU has a harder time bringing in teams to the Fargodome at the moment because of their very recent success which reflects in the huge amounts of money it costs them to bring a team in. Bottom line the game seems to make sense for the same reasons for both schools.
-
NDSU is just trying to delay playing this game for as long as possible because they saw what happened to their mighty Basketball and Volleyball teams. They simply are afraid they might lose that game to. The reality is that even though at the moment they probabl;y are the better team but when we do play you just know UND will beat them. You can just feel it. Of course by the time this game ever happens UND will be the better team anyway.

Someone hinted or speculated that we were selling more season tickets this year. Is there actually any truth to that rumor? In the past how many season ticket holders do we have?
-
Is it just me or do certain responses from Bison fans seem rather repetitive. Like it is the same person writing in all the time just using different names. The theory they keep repeating is never supported by facts. It is just hatred being spewed and no common sense. I think they are just talking to themselves and just trying to convince themselves that they are right. They just don't get the BIG picture.
-
Previously a Bison follower said he would rather play the Montana Schools than UND every year. He must be quite envious then about the fact that UND plays the Montana schools regularly in the Big Sky. UND can survive very nicely without NDSU on the schedule now. The game is no more important to one school over the other now.
-
Now that UND is out of transition and in the Big Sky I don't think either school needs the game more than the other. With NDSU winning the National title last year it is probably easier for UND to fill their home schedule than NDSU. Didn't someone on here say that NDSU paid 200 thousand and some to get a team to come to the Fargodome next year. That makes giving up a home game every other year to play UND every year a no brainer. UND game has no expense or travel costs. The bottom line is just get the game going again. It will be way to much fun.
-
With Taylor going to the media first on the story, hopefully it won't tick UND and Faison off and hurt the negotiations on getting the game to happen.
-
All the Sioux fans I talked to this year had a great time at the Basketball game. It must of been the Bison fans who didn't have as much fun.

On todays live chat with the Herald writers they talked about the rumors circulating about the possibility of Oakland and IUPUI leaving the Summit. If those rumors proved to happen along with ORU already leaving the Summit, they said that would basically be a real bad blow to their league. Do you think USD would regret turning down the offer to go to the Big Sky? I am thinking they would have some real 2nd thoughts but they would never admit it. If the Summit fell apart or basically became an NCC looking conference again would NDSU ever try to get in the Big Sky? Believe it or not I think NDSU would try to get in the Big Sky again. I don't think the new appearance of the Summit would satisfy most fans in Fargo.

Tim OKeefe said it was going to cost a quarter million dollars to get the word out on the June vote. Does anybody know if they are going to send the bill to Al Carlson. I hope that is what they are intending to do.
-
I see in the article Bohl was still pursuing Mollberg after he had given UND a verbal. Is that the norm these days? I would imagine UND uses the same tactics. Is that right?
-
If we have connections with the Illinois area I say go get kids wherever you can find them. Some question why we are not in California as much right now. It doesn't matter where they come from if they are good enough. As far as California how many kids from California do we have right now? Were any of the new recruits from California?
-
I also see we have Montana, Montana State, Eastern Washington and SDSU all at home in 2013. What a schedule!!!!!!
-
So we have a home and away with USD in the future set up. SDSU is coming here in 2013 also. We have home and away series with the 2 Montana schools through the Big Sky. Exciting to see were keeping all our rivalries going.
-
So UND fans rushed the court when we beat NDSU in basketball. You thought that was a big deal. What does that say about NDSU fans and players chanting and talking about UND in your post game rally for winning a football championship. It kind of makes the rushing the court statement you made sound a little silly, don't you think?
-
In the near future when UND is playing at Frisco we will travel well to. UND is known for traveling well to. You better get your head out of the sand too.

Bison fans can talk all they want about how nice it is to go to road games in the Summit. The reality of it is that most Bison fans might go to 1 or 2 road games in the Summit A lot of their fans might go to only 1 game and a lot of their fans won't go to any road games. That defense of the Summit league is just a smoke screen. The most exciting thing about the league that you are in is the type of home games that your schedule provides. The same goes for the football league you are in. At this point I can't wait for the Big Sky.

If it is the remodeling of the locker rooms at Memorial Stadium it must mean that the Indoor practice facility is way on the back burner. The reason I say that is I thought new offices and locker rooms were going to be in the new practice facility. Am I wrong on that? I am sure they wouldn't put money into Memorial Stadium if the big project was close to happening.

For the most part the conferences are similar with a slight edge overall in recent years to the Summit. If you took by far the 2 best teams out of the Summit recently, I definitely feel the Big Sky will be ahead of the Summit.
-
If Oakland and ORU left the Summit I would be willing to bet that the RPI for the Summit would fall below the Big Sky. Time will tell but I think you might be wrong on that one. Every year can be different but I am thinking what the general pattern would be. In the past was the MidCon higher than the Big Sky? As far as the future if those 2 schools left the past wouldn't matter because you would have a whole new set of schools now.
-
With Oral Roberts bolting out of the Summit the RPI in the future for the Summit will take a major hit. Some people are even worrying about Oakland leaving the Siummit. If they left too the Summit RPI in the future won't be very impressive.
