I saw some clueless person on Facebook say it’s a goalie issue because if we had played Hobie last night he wouldn’t have let in any goals.

Pretty sure Schlossman isn’t the one that wrote it so you are criticizing the wrong person. He mentioned who wrote it in his tweet.

No, he was never doing before/after. Most of Minnetonka’s team from last year is gone so there was no reason for him to return. He will be in Chicago the whole year. Im wondering if we may see less kids doing before and after. The coach in TriCity isn’t letting any kids on his team do them. So if anyone is wondering why Simpson didn’t do a before and after, that’s why.

He’s got a .900 save percentage, 7-1-1 record though. Hobie played over 100 games of junior hockey. I’m guessing they want to see a similar amount of games played. So based on what UND has done previously I’d say they’re either going portal or getting another recruit. Which annoys me because I don’t think any of our portal guys have ever really lived up to expectations. Would rather bring in a recruit. I could be wrong, maybe Heil starts getting more games at some point this season. but that’s my take.

I find it highly unlikely Heil will be here next year. At least at this point. His current team does a rotation where Heil only plays on Saturdays. He needs more games than that.

Offense needs to get it together and contribute more goals. Defense and Goaltending are not going to win us games right now. Not putting blame on them, but they need help.
