Not necessarily. The only recruits that were ever confirmed for next year are Klee, Zellers, Laurila and Zakreski. Others are options, but decisions on them being here next season are still tbd.

I think everyone in his family went to UND. I believe his sister is also currently a student at UND. I don’t think he’ll change his mind about coming here.

I heard Pohlkamp was an a-hole on his visit.

WMU captain was arrested and charged with sexual assault. He also was accused of sexual assault before his freshman year started and WMU brushed it off and let him stay on the team.

Not much has changed in Berry’s lineup decisions since he left either.

I think you are mixing up your teams. The team that could barely get 4 lines was in 2012. They lost to the Gophers in the regional final. The 2014 team was young on D and was carried by Zane to the Frozen Four.

Clearly Berry’s opinion on who our best players are is different from everyone here. Not shocking considering his lineup decisions.

To me, It’s not his loyalty to the local boy. It’s his obsession with going with experienced players over more talented freshmen. Before the ASU series when we were finally healthy at forward he basically admitted he would be doing this no matter how well Littler and Croal were playing. It’s so dumb.

For the record:

2 things are true: 1. UND does not historically play well in the Frozen Faceoff. 2. The Penrose Cup champ historically does not play well in this tournament. UND is the only Penrose Cup champ to win it and that was at REA so that’s not the same. Seems like something has to give on either of these things on Friday.
