Has anyone here gotten it? I was in the Union today and 3 times I got a message that said the NT Authority was shutting down my system, then there was a 1 minute countdown and my computer restarted. I was using the UND ethernet connection. I'm not having any trouble now though at home. Note...there is a lot of construction going on in the Union right now, so that could have something to do with it, but I am by no means a computer expert.

While I do agree with you Siouxhockeylover that it is fun to watch the Sioux massacre the Canisius' and the Niagra's, being a hockey purist, I love a great hardfought game. The kind of game Maine has given us and will continue to give us. One reason the Gopher games are always soldout. Being our #1 rival, you can be sure we are in for some good, no no great, old fashioned, Old Time Hockey. There is also something to what Diggler says about beating a team like Maine with a good tradition. It's a lot more satisfying than beating Little Sisters of the Poor Community College (they just moved up to D1 ).

Damstrait...The way that the act is described does not come across as classless to me (however I wasn't there). A little disrespectful, yeah maybe. I don't know how many Sioux-Manitoba games you've been at, but we have been chanting USA USA at the last 4, at least. I think that they should not have been allowed on the ice with the banner in the first place, but they were. It's in the past everyone should let it go. On Minnesota fans already talking about a repeat...guess what? I remember doing it in 2000-01 (for a repeat) before the season even started. It's not really uncommon to hear fans doing that. Being from the TC I know a lot of Gopher fans. I see no difference between hardcore Gopher fans and hardcore Sioux fans. Both are extrememly loud, they annoy the opposing team and their fans, love thier team, and last but not least, are very nice people when the final buzzer sounds.

Someone tell me how decreasing the quality of a D1 program with a pretty good tradition helps the goals of higher education. I really don't see a correlation here.

It's not like it is a huge secret that the team goes out and parties at The Edge after saturday games. Their ID's aren't looked at very closely if checked at all. This is something that the police need to discuss with The Edge and other clubs and bars in the area. I wouldn't be too worried because, guess what folks, they're college students. College students drink underage. I'll be honest, I didn't wait until I turned 21 before I started drinking and neither do a lot of people in college. I'm not saying it is right to do, but it does happen.

This is college hockey...there is no such thing. Remember 8-0(about 4 times), 12-2?? Nobody cares if you do it in college...

This is absolute bull. Why would you not want to have teams such as CC who have been competitive at the D1 level for years all of a sudden do absolutely horrible? The NCAA better have a grandfather clause in there. Next thing you know...CC will be so bad, even AA will beat them.
