Oh, Minnie IS back and I don't think they will lose many more games. They are starting to realize their potential. The Michigan game was a great game, to say the least. They deserved to win and they did against a good Michigan team. Both teams have struggled a bit, but they're both still good programs.

Jake has a .926 SV%...good for #8 in the country. Neither Montoya, Briggs, nor Johnson is even in the top 20, with #20 having an .889 and a GAA of 2.38. Jake's is a 1.72. But then again we have a good defense...oh wait, Minnesota's is better than ours. Can't have it both ways folks. I think it's both reasons. Better defense, better goaltending for the Sioux.

The Gophers have played well the last 4 games, hats off to them. Beat Michigan at Yost...not easy. Props. I find it hard to believe that they will run the table the rest of the year. Did we really expect them to acknowlage that the Sioux are a good team? Did we not expect that they'd use the good ole' you won because we played bad excuse when they started playing well? No on both accounts. I think they are also having trouble dealing with the fact that Wisonsin may have fielded a decent team this year. They have a chance at either home ice or a possible upset in the WCHA playoffs. Most of them will never admit when they are wrong (certain exceptions apply) so they rationalize. They don't realize they can't stop our scoring line...you know Genoway, Stafford, and Prpich BTW...the person that wrote it, gopherhockeyguy, is as anti-Sioux as any of them come. We could run the table in the WCHA (yeah, I know, highly unlikely) and he still won't admit we're a good team. He also blasted Sioux fans for ".....home of the SIIIOOOOOUUUXX, " until Gopher fans kindly pointed out they do the same thing. This comment is about as credible as INCH.

I wonder what he would say about my comment about him on POI last night? You know, the ESPN one. The Gophers are playing much better than they did when they came up here earlier. I sure hope that they stop this playing well thing they're getting themselves into before we travel down there.

Actually Mesa State was a deccent team when the home-home contract was signed. Like us, they had a sh*tty year last year. If you'll recall we throttled them last year and didn't even finish .500. Mesa ended up being a good team this year and we didn't expect that.

If I don't have to work...I'll be getting a ticket tomorrow for sure. Hopefully they realized how much I was going to work my a$$ off this weekend, and gave me the next one off.

I'd like to offer NDSU fans some perspective. You took us to overtime, correct? If we beat UNA on Saturday, and make or win the NC, you can say that you lost to the D2 National Cahmps in OT and UCD, a D1-AA team. By us winning, it makes you look better. So make the trip up from the South and cheer the Sioux to victory!!! GO SIOUUUUUXXXXX!!!!!

Who cares if our wins weren't pretty? As long as the team does what it takes to win and wins...that's all that matters. Remember tOSU last year. Almost lost a number of times, including Cincinatti. The fact is good teams ALWAYS find a way to win. tOSU did and it got them a NC. So our only loss was in OT against Mesa State. Remember what happened last time our only loss was in OT against a playoff team....National Champions!!!

As they should. I grew up watching my back. Call it paranoid, but as I walk up to my car, I look underneath it, then as I pass by, I look in the back seat. The reason people like this go to small towns is because of the sense of invulnerability that many in these towns have. Where my roommate is from (middleofnowhere, NE) they leave there doors unlocked, and keys in the ignition. Small town people need to realize that it really is a small world...you have to be ready for anything. Anyone know where they are searching tomorrow (Besides "somwhere in Grand Forks County).

Props to WSU for their comeback. Like has been stated on this board, you will not win in the playoffs if you're not a good team. Winona, it seems (keep in mind I wasn't able to see the game, just listen to spurts at work) is a good team. From what it sounds like, the Sioux dominated the first half, WSU the 2nd...UND hung in there at the end.

I work at Target, and what I do, is only done in the morning, so I can't exactly switch shifts...If I could, I damn sure would try.
