yep and I don't see him lacing up the skates anytime soon. he even made reference last week on the coach's show that he can't really do any exercise. we can only hope he fully recovers and chooses to come back next year.

for the record going back to last season BE is the reason we were able to get a tie on Sat against the Pioneers. he has done it just not as often as we would like.

for some perspective on this look at eddie the eagle's numbers in 1987 they weren't that stellar, but he had a team that routinely scored 4,5,6 goals for him so when he gave up 2-3 a night it didn't make a difference. if this team could ever score 4 on a routine basis BE would rarely ever be brought up.

not to count my chickens before they hatch but we have a real bonus that last weekensd of the year in that we play tech at home. that weekend cc plays du, uw plays minny, scsu plays msu-mankato and duluth heads out to uaa. if we can be at least tied for fifth going into that weekend I really like our chances.

UND is higher than SCSU and Duluth? the pairwise have us where we should be around 10th. I don't know why when poeple talk about so and so is rankled 1st or whatever they don't use the pairwise. some networks when it comes to college football just use the BCS rankings not the other irrelevant polls. so in other this weekend we have 2 vs 10 at the ralph.

uw went out to unh and bc last year, cc went out to unh a couple of years ago. DU has gone out to maine in the past few years as well, UMD has gone out to vermont a couple of time in the last five years I believe as well. I thought that minny was going to out to unh next year?
