When did private schools in MN have their own hockey tournament? In ND, Dickinson Trinity dropped to Class B about 15 years ago. In a sport where a school might make the state boys basketball tournament once every 20 years, Trinity has now made something like 9 of the last 13 state tournament appearances. I hate that school with a passion.

If you think Bemidji puked that game away last night, it's only because the official decided to stick his finger down their collective throats with about 6:00 in the game. The penalty call directly affected the outcome. I saw very few stretches where Minnesota actually controlled the play and tempo. BTW...9 of Bjugstad's 19 goals are on the PP. I think Bemidji gives Goldy another tough game tonight.

That's becoming a regular habit resulting in Gopher goals...it happened last week as well on Saturday night against Denver.

It's tongue-in-cheek humor. Some folks on this board were irate over UND's tie on Senior Night figuring Minnesota would go St Thomas Academy on the Beavers this weekend. I don't know where those posters are tonight...
