I already said the Red Wings are in Anaheim this weekend...it's not their issue. Besides, when you're only playing a three-game series, a Saturday afternoon/evening and Sunday afternoon title game actually makes sense. Saturday attendance should be higher than Friday afternoon, especially since it likely wouldn't be Michigan playing...

Actually, with the lockout this season, this year's schedule was done in about 24 hours...they didn't just pick up from the date the lockout ended.

For all of you folks who voted for Saturday, I sincerely hope you can make it Friday instead. If you are able to, please change your vote so I can get an idea of who can pull it off. Thank you. Friday worked out well last year and it happens to accomodate my schedule since I don't attend the Saturday afternoon Wild games and can wait until 6:00 pm to drive to St Paul for the title game. Thanks for understanding...just can't do two Hoggsbreath days in a row. I apologize if you aren't able to make it Friday because it's going to be a BLAST.

I do believe Goon is on the attendance list. I am also planning on having Tom set up the PA system so introductions and 'story-time' can be heard by the whole group instead of just portions of each table. Any sign wording suggestions? I usually roll with whatever color the Sioux are wearing...but I definitely prefer the green to the white.

My buddy and I have a bet on every Sioux/Gopher game at the Final Five. The loser wears the winner's team jersey at the first game of the next year's tournament that the winner's team plays. Got that? This year, Kenny would be wearing my Sioux jersey for the North Dakota/CC game. So, of course, he books a family vacation to Florida for THE WRONG WEEKEND and had to sell his tournament tickets this past week. Typical Gopher epic fail...

As the home team, yes, it's gotta be white. I just love the color vs color match-ups though...when done right. I guess the real question is which Sioux jersey do I wear on Thursday?
