Have you ever seen UND host a basketball tournament? They could pack the REA or Alerus. The women hosted a National Title game in 1997 and the Hyslop was deafening (I was there). I think Bison fans would drive the whole ONE hour to a tournament if they can drive down to Texas for a Title game. I think it’s how the tickets are handed out that people have a problem with instead of the venue.

Weren't Bison fans gloating how they could take on the MVFC by beating up MAC teams and the Gophers while in the GWFC when accepted into the MVFC , then sh*t the bed the first 2 years going 6-5 (4-4), and 3-8 (2-6). You guys didn't become relevant until 2011. Even in 2010 you went 4-4 in the conference. So why are you acting like the MVFC is the SEC? We won the Big Sky in 2016, we won the GWFC in 2011, we won the NCC (over you guys) multiple times, we know how to win a conference and your conference is no different. We beat UNI while we were in DII, your conference mates aren't Alabama, Clemson, and Ohio State.

People here care about one bowl, the Potato Bowl (not the one in Idaho). I want national titles not champion of a worthless Bowl.

Where would we come up with the money to move up? We just cut a bunch of sports to make ends meet. Also unless the g5 announces a playoff of its conferences there is ZERO interest of going FBS. Too many negatives at this point. A lot has to happen to even think about moving up.

I was just surprised ESPN got our logo correct and didn’t call us North Dakota State. They have problems with schools outside of the NYC area.
