I am sure sales of gear of the Stanford Cardinals weren’t that great the year after they changed their name but look at their sales now. They have been the Cardinals since 1981. How much Redskin gear is at GFC games? After a 23 year name change Knights gear is seen everywhere. We are on year two of the nickname and year one of the logo, still have a long ways to go.

I know 2 people on my block here in Fargo that wear Hawk gear and have a Fighting Hawk sign in their yard (3 if you include me). I also have a boss that wears a Fighting Hawk hoodie.

Like I said, logo is one year old do your analysis in 5 to 10 years for a more accurate rating of the sale of the Hawk logo.

Compared to what the Sioux logo? No sh*t Sherlock, that’s nothing new. The logo is a whole one year old, check sales in 5 or 10 years from now it may paint a different picture.

The point was there is no other logo like ours, look at Illinois State and Louisville, it’s practically the same. The point of the Fighting Hawks logo is to have something that was unique, no logo like ours which has been missing since 2012 with the Sioux logo. The interlocking ND was identical to Notre Dame which people would get mixed up. When someone sees our logo they aren’t going to see the any Hawk logo from another school.

Same could be said with Indian logos. UND hasn't had a "unique" one until Bennett Brien made one like no other. Blackhawk Logo- Chicago Blackhawks Geometric Indian Logo- Moose Jaw Warriors Interlocking ND logo- Notre Dame Just because you hate the logo and everything about it, doesn't mean I and others can't have a positive opinion on the name and logo. It’s nice to have a logo that is unique and not like any other school’s logo. The last Sioux logo was that way. It takes a while to get used to it but it will continue to grow, the logo is only a year old, and of course some people hate it, but there are others that are buying into the logo.

I think Rudolph should be fired. Our offense hasn’t produced the points like the Muss era. If only we had his offense with Bubba’s defense.

After the misurable Mussman era, Bubba seems like the second coming of Roger Thomas. Bubba was there when Roger took a stumbling program and turned it around piece by piece. Bubba is mimicking the same thing, except the offensive piece isn’t quite there yet. I and others don’t want to go back to the drawing board on the program with the removal of Bubba, which would set us back another 3-5 years as another head coach would most likely dismantle what Bubba brought back to UND football that was lost since 2007. I think it’s fair to wait and see if Bubba turns it around next season, and if not then maybe major changes need to be made. But jumping off the ledge after one bad season when we won a conference (a major FCS conference) title is very premature. I still think if we didn’t have the massive amounts of injuries on the defense we would have won a lot more than 3 games. What’s the old saying, defense wins championships.
