It’s the amount of injuries that was the problem it wasn’t one or 2 it was a lot on defense. NDSU has a couple guys banged up and it’s next guy up, our starter gets hurt and his backup gets hurt now you have a third stringer thrown into the fire. Maybe there is a major depth problem and Bubba needs to fix that. One of many things to address over the off-season .

What happened to us doesn’t happen to all teams, when your defense looks like a 3rd string party you know you have problems. Our injury list was the worst I have ever seen, and I have followed UND football since 1985. If it was one or two guys out that’s one thing but when 3/4th of the starters are watching the game from the sidelines you have a problem. Good teams work around it, like whom? Whom this season had 3rd stringers start multiple games on defense, whom has had most of their defensive starters on the bench with injuries. Please enlighten us, that injuries didn’t play a huge part in our 8 losses.

If we didn’t have the injuries like we did and went 3-8 then I would question a coaching change especially after the hype this team had to start the year, but if next year we sh*t the bed and go 3-8 or even 5-6 then maybe a change at the top is warranted. We need to know if this is a one time thing or a pattern. 2002 saw a less than stellar year for Lennon and looked what happened the following year. Lots of questions for the offseason.

Nice to see how strong UND volleyball is with its good attendance. Volleyball used to be an after thought in its DII days. It was football, hockey and basketball back then. Now volleyball has become our 5th well attended sport, we need to keep a strong coaching staff which we do and keep recruiting gems both local and non-local. Go Fighting Hawks!!

Bubba won the fans over in 2015 with the school’s FBS win over Bohl’s Wyoming team and winning 7 DI games the most ever to that point, the following year they win 9 DI games the most ever, go undefeated in the conference and win a share of the BSC title, plus a home playoff game. Attendance this year is the highest ever in UND history and that includes no game with NDSU (which usually bumps attendance numbers). Fans will return next year only to see how this team has improved over the previous season and if a change is needed at the end of the year.

That guy also wants Sac State and Ball State to change the school names while he still supports the name Gamecocks.

We have 9 months til next season starts, things can change. If not, and we have 3 wins then maybe changing the top position should be looked at.

Both conferences have 4 teams with at least 7 wins. Like I said they are both good conferences.

NDSU won 3 games in 2009 and some people called for Bohl’s head, sound familiar. Let’s see if this is a trend like what happened in the Mussman era or a one time thing like in the Bohl era. Next year will answer a lot of questions.

18-24-1 was Roger Thomas’s record after 4 seasons. So should we have replaced him after the 1989 season? We hit a bump in the road, have some faith. Bubba proved he can get the program on the right track and into the playoffs. If this repeats then it becomes a problem.

Why? We are moving into the MVFC not the SEC. SDSU went from the GWFC into the MVFC and got into the playoffs their first year. We aren’t a DI transition team we are a fully established DI team just moving from one good conference to another. Your comment sounds like it was cut and pasted from Bisonville.

I think it’s sad that they aren’t replacing Rudolph and start thinking of people to call to replace him. Maybe things can be re-evaluated after the NC game and Bubba can retract his statement.
