As someone who has directed productions on ESPN3, it is not as easy as adding some training and fancy equipment. People train and work for years to get to the level of a high-end production. No doubt the broadcast should be improved (it really doesn't take much) but it will not be ESPN quality.

What if Kelley selected a group of people who took this job seriously and that included a variety of perspectives, professions and beliefs about the names. Then that group was put in charge of narrowing down the list of names. I personally think that would be the best way of getting names narrowed down.

I'm curious if UND will see any spike in fundraising due to the voting details. Keikla has been a UND fan her entire life, posts on this board but was smart enough to earn a scholarship to a D2 school for swimming because they needed to raise their team GPA. She texted this morning saying she has a certain number of days to donate to UND so she can have a vote in the process. I could see that working out really well for UND.

For me...switch North Stars and Fighting Hawks but the rest are the same. I still struggle with UND taking the motto of the state next to them.

I'm curious how many anti nicknamers will vote Sundogs just because they are throwing a fit.
