I've been told that MRIs are part of preventative care so maybe it's not really serious. Also - there are at least two dozen people on campus who can legally read an MRI and provide medical advice, so no - they're not waiting up to a week for results.

If we compare the last few years of his tenure with the last few years of previous coaches of other UND sports, you see he has a couple things going for him. Most importantly, he doesn't have a name or nickname that starts with B. Secondly, he continues to recruit solid players. Between Brewster, Bubba, Berry, Bernhard you can see their quality of recruits the final couple of years really started to drop. They seemed to get complacent and let social media and the facilities do the recruiting for them. Sather is still getting decent talent even if it's leaving after one or two years.

Yes, my opinions on posting anonymously on a college hockey message board would be exactly the same as if I was an AD (again?). But if I was an AD, I certainly wouldn't use ASU or Augustana as any sort of justification for starting a D1 program in Oklahoma where there is minimal hockey connection or either minor or pro teams. So, yes shut it down. Or at least get a big ass donor to afford a good coach, facilities, and NIL.
